The week ahead: August 12th through August 18th:

I don’t know about you all, but I’ve seen a noticeable shift in energy lately. It’s been fantastic, with the old falling away (because we FINALLY allowed it to) and the new that’s being ushered in is like a breath of fresh air. I feel like I can breath again and I don’t feel suffocated by my own fears and worries (they don’t seem relevant or as real anymore). Well, if you’ve been feeling the same and you’re ready to keep aiming for higher and happier goals, this week asks that you continue in your quest to dream big for yourself. If you notice the card, the mermaid is leaning to her left which represents giving energy and the future. It’s time to give your dreams the juice they need to manifest! The card goes on to say that in the past, you may have seen yourself as insignificant. This card asks you to release any thoughts or feelings of inferiority. Truly believe that you are utterly qualified for any endeavor you can dream about! Action Steps: Write down a list of your fears about moving forward, and then “drown” those fears by putting the paper into a bucket or large bowl of water. Then, take a cleansing shower, bath, or swim. The water seals your new way of seeing yourself…as you are in truth: an equal to all other children of God.

The middle of the week wants to talk about your healing work or bring you the understanding that you are in fact a healer. If you look to the card, you can see a mother and child which speaks to me of family healing as well. I know things have been in transition lately with a lot of fears floating around in your head. This card is a call to focus on your family healing and to realize you are a large part of the healing as well. When one person in a family unit is out of whack, it throws the rest of the dynamics out as well, and so the family may act confused, begin petty fights, or generally be sad or unhappy. If this is your issue this week or in the past, it’s time to sit down with yourself and get to the heart of the matter. When you thrive, so does your family, so take the time and mend anything that has been broken or ask for the help to make this happen. If you’re a healer, this card is a powerful confirmation that your work is real and happening! You don’t need to question if you belong in this profession or if your work is helping others, because you belong and it is! If neither one of those apply, this card is a call to help you realize that you are in fact a healer. If you’ve been asking for guidance with your life, being a healer is the path you’re being called to. The card goes on to say that deep within your heart, you’re aware of your healing abilities. Perhaps you’ve received feedback from others about the way that your words or touch have helped them heal. By drawing this card, you’re urged to take your healing work to the next level. You’re also asked to purify your diet and thoughts so that higher frequencies of healing energy can flow through you. By opening to the next level, you’ll notice a shift in the people or situations that come to you for help. You may find the number of healing opportunities increasing, or your clients may display a greater understanding of spirituality. Actions Steps: Heaven wishes to support your healing work completely. If you’d like to further your education, work in a healing center, or increase your income, just ask…and then be open to receiving.

The end of the week speaks of mother healing. If there are unresolved issues with your mother, it’s time to release them to your angels or heaven. If you’re still having problems with releasing anger or guilt, it’s time to ask for the help to do this. There is no shame in asking for help and there are many qualified, kind, and compassionate people who are waiting to help you with this release. If you look to the card, you’ll notice the mermaid is with her two children playing. This says to me that if you are a mother, you may have some guilt over not doing enough for your children, spending time with them, or giving them what they need. It’s time to release these fears as well. Know that your children love you (no matter how the situation may appear on the outside), and as you release these feelings and forgive yourself, it allows you to be there in the way your children need and to be the mother you want to be. The card goes on to say that by drawing this card, Heaven asks you to release some remaining “mother issues.” Give the entire situation to heaven, knowing that everything is in the hands of Infinite Spirit. The situation may heal in unexpected ways. Be unconcerned with how it heals, and be vigilant in releasing any lower energies connected to your mother that could interfere with your life’s mission. Action Steps: By releasing any mother issues to Heaven, your heart opens further to accepting joy and blessings into your life. Your mother benefits when you’re happy, whether or not she’s consciously aware of it. Be willing to forgive and release old issues relating to yourself, your mother, mother figures, or anyone connected to your mother. By cleaning your inner house, you invite new love, opportunities, abundance, and healing energy to enter your life.

Whew! It feels like a breakthrough week with a lot of transitions that have been happening lately. Make sure to continue to dream big and do what it takes to get your family back to good. That could mean mending old hurts and reconnecting, or just forgiving the person that hurt you and loving them from a distance. It’s up to you how the situation is resolved, the point is to resolve it. Get outside this week and play too. I think you’ll find the fresh air invigorating and rejuvenating to your soul and mind. If you can play near water, all the better!
