The week ahead: May 25th through May 31st:


I’m shocked at how emotional this past week has been. I honestly shouldn’t be considering we’re still dealing with Mars in Gemini (look back 2 weeks ago to read up on that, if you missed it), so that means your words might come out angrier or harsher than expected (or really feel)–or before your mouth can stop the out-pour of words from your brain so you can review them for truth’s. Leaked secrets, unkind words, conspiracy theories (crazier than usual stuff), and bullying are only a few of the things that might be happening right now. Some of those things that seem terrible, might turn out to be a blessing in disguise, so always look for the silver lining or lesson. If tensions and emotions are running high around you, it’s time to take a break and retreat to somewhere that you feel safe. Especially if you feel drained or don’t have any energy, that’s a sign from your body that you need to rest and recoup what energy you have left. How can you possibly help others, if you’re not helping yourself? I’ve been receiving a lot of requests for reminders too. So this week, I set up the cards to answer what you need to be reminded of right now. Take a deep breath, focus your energy to peace or joy (or whatever you’d like to feel), and remember that the Universe is conspiring to make you happy. There’s always going to be down times, or snafu’s, or rough patches in your life. The defining moment for you will be when you remember to look at what you CAN do, or re-align yourself with joy, or ask for help. Listen to what these emotions are telling you. This guidance system that you were gifted with is trying to help you identify what does and doesn’t work for you in your life. Pay attention, be the voice of reason, and take care of yourself. You only deserve the best <3

It doesn’t matter whether your artwork is “perfect.” What matters is that you express yourself creatively. This card asks you to spend more time being creative. That means doing something artistic, such as painting, drawing, singing, dancing, dressing in costume, writing a story, or taking photos. When you do something creative, you feel free and happy. Creativity also helps you see the world in new ways. You notice amazing new details in everyday life and see colors that you never noticed before. Creativity also sparks new ways of doing things, which also positively affects work and play. Doing things in the same way every time puts you into a “rut.” Ruts are major causes of stress, and stress can lead to sad or tired feelings. The best way to get out of a rut is by doing something creative. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you do it with a creative flair.

Your card goes on to say that one reason why you may feel bored is that you’re doing the same things over and over. To feel excited about life, you need to try new things! This card asks you to think of something that you’ve always wanted to do, and then learn about it. Ask your family or friends to take you along and their adventures. When you try something new, you may feel funny at first, like it won’t work. But just do your best to enjoy yourself, and don’t worry about being perfect–especially at the start. The more you can relax and have fun, the better everything will go. So, sign up for a class where you’ll learn something new–like a language, drama, or photography class; or maybe take up a new sport. Stretch yourself beyond what you think you can do. You may find that you really enjoy this new activity, and you’ll most likely make new friends. You’ll also find that you will learn new skills that will help you in other areas of your life, too!

My hope for you this week is that you tune into yourself. Do what’s best for you this week so that you can continue to give to those around you. High emotions and high stress are sometimes apart of life, so deal appropriately with them and do what serves your greatest good. Decide right now how you’d like the rest of your week to go: Are you going to find the lessons? Or are you going to flip out? You get to choose whether you respond or react. Responding will at least leave your dignity in tact 😉 Hold fast, lovelies! Everything will work out just fine <3
