The week ahead: March 23rd through March 29th:


How are you guys feeling from last week? The general consensus I keep hearing is “exhausted!” We had a new moon solar eclipse, AND spring equinox all in one day on the 20th. Whatever needed flushed out of your life was either final on that day, or just started to remove the roots from your life. That can add up to feeling a lot of loss, and I can’t express how important it is to grieve what went away. Some of you may be disagreeing with me, saying “good riddance!” For those who are having a party–rock on. For those who are devastated–seek a way to grieve. This will be your final step in letting go. When I was having serious family issues (from about August till January), I was also feeling so disconnected from Spirit. I was having to work harder than normal to connect and bring through messages in the readings, and I wasn’t “feeling” Spirit like I normally do. I had no booked readings coming in either, and I felt completely insure in my abilities. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why I felt so detached from the Spirit world, and I was terrified that my mediumship was leaving me. I talked to a friend about what was going on and she asked me what had been happening lately. When I told her about my family situation, she immediately told me that I hadn’t grieved my losses yet. At first I told her that I had done plenty of grieving and I was all cried out. She reminded me that grieving wasn’t just being sad about what was going on, it was also about letting go of the way I had hoped for things to turn out; accepting the truth of the situation. I hadn’t even thought of it that way. I went home that evening and found an awesome podcast on grief (If you’d like to hear the same podcast I listed to, search for The Mediation Podcast and look for podcast #23 on grief). I bawled like a baby as I was doing this meditation, but it helped me to let go. After I did this specific meditation a couple times, I saw a noticeable difference in my attitude and my demeanor. I felt this heavy burden release from my shoulders and I could breath again. As I meditated, my intention was that my connection with Spirit be strengthened. A couple weeks later, and I’m completely booked with readings till March. My readings are going better than before, and I’m being invited to be a guest reader at multiple events. So this week, how can you accept your situation of loss for what it is and let your expectations go? Where do you think grief is holding you back in your life? If you decide to meditate to work through everything, set your intention (in the positive thought form, ie “I’m doing this meditation today to help me land that job I applied for, or something better.” Instead of, “I don’t want to be at my current job anymore because it’s awful.”) to help you or someone else. Remember that you’re allowed to take all the time you need to grieve. This is your process and your life. If you’re ready to move forward though, give yourself the gift of letting go. It may be the final step you need to move forward in your pursuits 🙂

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is what would you see, feel, think, and hear if your wish came true? Your card goes on to day that when you imagine your dream coming true, you help make it happen. This card asks you to think of a wish that you really want, and imagine that it has come true. Next, close your eyes and notice how your body feels when you think about your wish. How do you feel — excited, happy, nervous, or some other way? Do you feel tingles anywhere in your body? What else do you feel? Now, notice what you see when you imagine your wish coming true. What people, colors, and things do you see? What do you see yourself doing as your wish comes true? What else do you see? Then, listen for any words that you hear in your mind. What do you hear, what do you think it means? At this point, focus on your thoughts as you think about your dreams. Do you have any ideas? Anything else that you think? When you imagine your dream coming true, and notice all your feelings, thoughts, words, and visions, you help make it happen! This is the power of the human imagination. It’s sometimes called “faith.” You may be surprised when your wish comes true in a better way than you think. Let yourself see all sorts of wonderful dreams and wishes. And have faith that they’ll come true in ways beyond your greatest imagination!

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is that you’ve started something important, and now it’s time to complete it. Your card goes on to say that at the beginning of a project, you feel excited because it’s something new and different. This excitement gives you a lot of energy. It also makes you want to spend a lot of time working on the task. But the excitement might fade away, calling you to lose interest. At that point, you may walk away from it. When you have lots of unfinished projects, your mind feels scattered. The unfinished jobs nag at you, which isn’t fun. This card asks you to go back to an important project (you already know which one it is) and complete it. The act of finishing something helps you become a more organized person, and makes you feel better about yourself. This specific task will also help with your larger goals. That’s why it’s important to finish! It’s actually easier to finish something then it is to deal with feelings related to the project being incomplete. The easiest way to finish it is to spend daily time working on it a little bit. What can you do today to bring the project to completion? If you’re unsure, ask your angels and unicorns for help. They can give you ideas, as well as the energy to work on finishing what you started. You’ll thank them and yourself after the task is done!

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is when you wake up, you’ll have a better idea about what to do. Relax until then. Your card goes on to say that one reason why you feel unsure right now is that you’re trying too hard to know the answer. The best thing to do is to let go and relax. The answer is right there for you, and as soon as you stop trying so hard, you’ll know what to do. In this case, the best solution is to sleep on it. When you awaken, you’ll have a much better idea about the best plan of action. During your dream time, the angels and unicorns will show you how to come up with a happy solution. They’ll show you that the power of love and light heal everything. They’ll also help you find the strength to take action. So for right now, don’t worry. Trust that your answer will be there for you when you wake up in the morning. It may not be the whole answer, but it will at least guide you in the right direction. Sleep well!

My hope for you this week is that you allow the process of grief to happen for you. Just because you let something go, doesn’t mean that the person, situation or thing is lost to you forever. You’re only letting go of how you wanted it to be. Maybe apart of the process is letting go of whatever or whoever you’re holding on to as well, but know that it was never yours to control in the first place. As you accept what happened; for better or worse; you allow the old to be removed and new, better situations, people, or things to occur for you. Just as there is a time for winter, there is also a time for spring. Let go, and watch as you cultivate happiness all around you <3
