10 Feb The week ahead: February 9th through February 15th:

Man…I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been having to remind myself to be patient all month. When I’m right on the verge of blowing up, something in me whispers, “chill out, sister.” I don’t know if it’s been the mercury retrograde filing away at my nerves, or maybe it’s just lessons the Universe is sending to help me work on my patience (or lack of) issue, but I’ve had little to no time for any tom foolery. “I’ve got big things to do today!” I yell from my little mountain top. Of course no one hears me because I’m only yelling to myself, but I swear someone up there is taking it personally and reminding me that patience rules the day. I gotta say I’m kinda proud of myself despite my power struggle. After I remind myself to calm down, I then push myself to be more generous with my time, or advice, or whatever is needed. I feel like this is the only way to combat this craziness. I don’t know where this little rage monster emerges from, but I’m over it and this little jerk is not paying rent. Maybe I should rework my phrase from the mountain top to be: “I’ve got people to love and lives to touch today!”  Maybe not so hardcore as the other phrase, but it speaks more truthfully about what I want from my day. So this week, pay attention to how you respond to things that get in your way. What words are you choosing to start your day with? What’s your motto? How can you be more patient and rework your thoughts to truly match your heart?
