The week ahead: August 11th through August 17th:

With the sudden and tragic loss of Robin Williams, I feel the message from the full moon on the 10th has a special meaning here; its time to love yourself more than you need acceptance. As someone who seemed to be living his dreams in reality, it came as shock that he had taken his own life. Looking back on his history though, Robin had battled addiction and depression issues for many, many years. Maybe he felt that he could never fully be himself, it’s certainly not acceptable in Hollywood to not be “on” when you’re a celebrity. People only want to see the funny, happy part of you. But isn’t that true for the rest of us? How often do you feel it’s OK to just say, “I’m not alright today.” I think it’s time for a change. I think it’s time for us to be able to say what we’re going through without fear of alienating others, fear that we won’t be loved for exactly who we are, or maybe fear that we’re putting undo stress on others with our own emotional issues. It’s time that we take a stand and talk about a MASSIVE issue most people sweep under the rug because they can’t, won’t, or don’t know how to support the ones around them. It’s time that we love ourselves enough to say that this is who I am and it’s beautiful, messy parts and all. You don’t have to be positive or “normal” 24/7–that’s impossible standards for ANYONE. Just shine your light with all that you have, and that means every bit of you, nothing left behind. You came to this place with a mission–find out who you are and step through the fear of not being accepted, to the other side of liberation; needing no ones acceptance but your own. The ONLY way this can occur is if you accept the parts of you that you believe are bad, or wrong, or sad, or not “normal”. Embrace your shadow side. Shine light on what you fear to show the world, examine these aspects and find out you’re not alone, and then nothing can stop your beautiful heart from helping others. If you been looking for your mission, there is your start line.

It is a variety of chalcedony, which is a type of quartz, and is one of the more valuable stones of this group. It brings through the vibration of Divine Truth and promotes joy and happiness while healing the heart of energies of depression and anxiety. It has metaphysical properties for healing as well as being a stone to attract new love and abundance and prosperity. This is an excellent stone for anyone who needs a lift as it promotes joy, self acceptance and independence, as well as forgiveness and compassion towards others. As it promotes joy and happiness, it will assist many who have been finding life difficult to learn more about being happy.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is that you have the Midas touch right now, and every project you begin turns to gold. Your card goes on to say that you’re on a roll at this time, with the energy of heightened success surrounding you and your endeavors. You instantly manifest your thoughts and ideas now, so choose them carefully! Just as you’re capable of manifesting masterpieces right now, you’re also able to manifest problems. Affirm frequently: “Thank you for helping me focus my thoughts completely on joy and the desire to be connected to Divine love. I am so grateful that all of my needs are so carefully addressed–instantly.”

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is to spend time alone, meditating upon what you truly desire. Your card goes on to say that this card indicates that you need some alone time. Make a firm appointment to be by yourself in a quiet place (ideally, outside in nature or near some plants) without delay. Make sure that you’ll be uninterrupted for at least one hour. Take a pad of paper and a pen with you. Then, spend some time simply breathing, relaxing, and centering yourself. After you’re completely relaxed, write down this question to your subconscious mind on your pad of paper: “What do I want to do next?” Write whatever comes to you in response, without worrying whether its “correct” or not. Then, ask your subconscious: “What’s my heart’s true desire right now?” Write down the answer. Spend time noting your true priorities so that you’ll know how to structure your free time to match what’s important to you. 

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is to surround yourself with positive people and situations, and avoid negativity. Your card goes on to say that your manifestation work is going wonderfully well. By drawing this card, you’re encouraged to take the process to an even higher level by going on a “negativity diet.” This means avoiding negative influences as much as possible. Avoid negative discussions with yourself and others. Turn off television and radio programs with negative themes, and stay away from violent movies. Don’t read pessimistic headlines, and steer clear of gossip-based magazines. This negativity diet will cleanse you of any hidden blocks that could slow down the manifestation of your dreams–or prevent them from coming true at all. Another thing you can do is to apply Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of placement, to your physical environs, which will help enhance the positive energy in all of your surroundings. You’re also asked to donate or sell items that are cluttering your home. This helps you bring in new energy and opportunity, and will also establish an environment that promotes creativity, health, and abundance. 

My hope for you this week is that you want to be free. This can mean from anything you feel is holding you back; bad thoughts, past traumatic memories, painful emotions, not accepting yourself, a horrible job, a parasitic relationship, etc. It’s time to love yourself. You can accomplish this by looking at the things you think aren’t acceptable about yourself, finding others that feel the same way & can offer support, and making a choice to take the journey to wellness. You don’t always have to be happy to do this either. Just be you. You will always be good enough <3
