The week ahead: December 16th through December 22nd of 2019:

I don’t know about you guys, but the skies have been feeling heavy lately. It may have something to do with a bevy of planets in Capricorn and the season moving from Sagittarius (fun) into Capricorn (work) on the 21st.

The 21st also brings the winter solstice for us in the Northern hemisphere, which promises to be the perfect time to sit down, focus on our priorities and make a plan to get them done.  The shortest day of the year doesn’t give much time to accomplish goals, but it does give a quiet space to get everything together, and more importantly, align with the serious vibe of Saturn (the ruling planet for Capricorn), giving us the extra focus needed to go bigger and better.

The Winter Solstice marks the time of year when the sun will start to shine brighter, the days will get longer, and life is reborn again. Hope is on the horizon. And with Jupiter just moving into the sign of Capricorn last week, hard, diligent work will gain big rewards, furthering our faith that things are finally turning around, but only if we put our nose to the grindstone. Jupiter is a planet that expands whatever it touches, and when it combines in a sign that’s known for being the tycoons and CEO’s of the zodiac, I feel we’ve got a mix for building empires 💖

So how can we work with the energy of this week? My advice is this: On the 21st, sit down and get clear about your priorities and goals. Maybe before hand, do a mediation on breaking through barriers, on confidence, or even prosperity. I suggest doing this big money manifesting meditation by the awesome Mystic Medusa, or even her space clearing and focus meditation. They cost a couple bucks, but I’ve personally used them and highly recommend everything she offers. After you meditate and get focused on your goals, write them down and post them up somewhere you’ll see them everyday. Decide to dedicate yourself to the pursuit of what means most to you; you deserve to be happy and fulfilled and now is your time to make something happen. Just one step towards your priorities everyday, will make a massive difference–make it so.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is clear quartz. Quartz crystal is valued for its piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties, by which it can transform mechanical pressure or heat into electromagnetic energy, and vice versa. Its ability to focus, amplify, store and transform energy is used throughout the technology world in ultrasound devices, watches, microphones, radio transmitters and receivers, memory chips in computers and other electronic circuitry. The same properties of energy amplification, programmability and memory also make Clear Quartz the most versatile and multidimensional stone in the mineral kingdom for healing, meditation, expansion of consciousness, communication with guides, past-life recall, attracting love or prosperity, or virtually any purpose. However, with this power comes responsibility. To benefit from Rock Crystal’s blessings, one must feel in harmony with it and deserve its gifts. Intent other than for good inevitably brings harm back on oneself. Clear Quartz is excellent for amplifying the energies of other stones or to enhance groups of stones, and is ideal for gridding. It is the perfect base material for wands, staffs, templates, etc., and clear crystal spheres have long been used for crystal gazing. For ongoing personal energy, carry Clear Quartz as a tumble-stone or touch as needed for an instant lift. Add Quartz crystals to bath water, or make an elixir to drink or splash on pulse points by soaking Clear Quartz crystals in water from first light to midday. In the workplace, use as a filter against negativity and to transform critical words. Crystals are professional support stones for artists, stylists, doctors and healers, inventors, musicians, and those who work in media. Clear Quartz produces a force field of healing negative ions while clearing the surroundings of positive ions, protecting the aura. It dispels static electricity, and cancels out the harmful effects of radiation and radioactivity. Clear Quartz brings strength and clarity to the intellect, aiding concentration and memory retention, and filtering out distractions. Its hypnotic quality is conducive to sleep, helping one to understand the messages and lessons conveyed during the dream state. It is also a respected stone for death, included in many cultures in funeral rites and placed in tombs, urns, and sepulchers. As an energy saver, Clear Quartz attached to the fuel line in a car is reputed to reduce fuel consumption. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

Overarching theme: Knight of Swords: An enthusiastic, assertive individual who is highly intelligent and attuned to their goals. The Knight of Swords views the world around them as a playground of opportunities and sets high standards for themselves, working to the brink of their potential and endurance. They can appear intimidating to others, as not many people can live up to this high level of intensity or demand. They may appear antisocial, curt or abrasive at times, and pay no attention to criticism or judgment. Often demonstrating a minor lack of foresight, but great determination in achieving what they want. This key encourages us to have faith in our dreams, to enforce our inner confidence, and to stand strong and true at every corner and turn. We are powerful, unique, and brilliant in our own right. Questions to ask yourself this week: How can I sustain this acceleration of energy? How can I refine my plans and assert my direction? Your mantra this week: I overcome the challenges and turns. I am powerful and articulate. Additional Meanings: Honest • Critical • Impulsive • Ambitious • Self-determined.

If you come card #1: Your message this week is about the King of Cups. Your card goes on to say that the most imaginative, sensitive and psychic of all Kings, this individual is ruled by the sacred wisdom of the heart. As natural leaders, they exude a sense of diplomacy and awareness that seems to illustrate control over their emotions, but underneath the surface they are highly sensitive and intuitive. The King of Cups encourages us to celebrate the blissful gifts that life has to offer, while not taking the beauty around us for granted. They may have a tendency to become lost within the dimensions of their own inner worlds, and can lose touch with the feelings of others if they are not mindful. This King needs a healthy amount of creative outlets, to remain happy and healthy, which also rings true to the underlying message of this key: it is important for us to express and source from the gateway of our heart. Doing so helps us ignite purpose and meaning in our life. Questions to ask yourself: How can I maintain a healthy balance with my heart? How can I reach out and support my relationships? Your mantra: I align with the divine principle of Love. I trust in my intuitive strength and foresight. Additional Meanings: Nurturing • Diplomatic • Strong • Generous • Emotional.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about The High Priestess. Your card goes on to say that The High Priestess evokes a secret inner wisdom that resides within us all. This is a powerful, mysterious force the taps into ancient forms of knowledge, perhaps even connecting to previous lifetimes or earthly incarnations. What seeded memories are rising within you now? When this key shows up, she encourages you to explore your intuition and dreams, and trust in any new insights or teachings that resonate with your heart. The High Priestess exists as a condiment of the many lost teachings that are now emerging within the new wisdomkeepers and mystics of the earth. She has shown up in many different forms since the dawn of time, initiating us into our higher divine truth. She is Isis, Persephone, Mary, Ishtar, and the eternal goddess of 10,000 names. Questions to ask yourself: What deeper messages are being shared through my intuition, dreams, or visions? How can I connect to the wisdom of the Universe? Additional Meanings: Mystery • Akashic records • Intuition • Awakening.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week’s about the Five of Wands. Your card goes on to say that the Five of Wands deals with struggles and conflict, either because you feel you must stick up for yourself, or because the ideas of someone else clash with your own. This could also signify challenges within yourself that you are having to work through. At some point, they will make themselves known, whether through your behavior and involuntary expressions, or the stress levels you experience. How can you focus on rerouting your thoughts, or process what needs to be shed and released? It could be that you will find yourself competing with someone who is equally ambitious as you are. If you feel as though you are overburdened by the energies of others, take a step back and rest within your own stillness. Now more than ever, it is important to honor your heart and to make your priorities clear. This card is not about teamwork–it is about your own personal goals and strength. Questions to ask yourself: How can I open or hold space for healing? How can I focus my own energy to help this situation? Your mantra: I release what needs to be shed. I commune with unconditional love. Additional Meanings: Conflict • Competition • Tension • Delays • Independence.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 😊
