The week ahead: November 18th through November 24th of 2019:

MERCURY IS GOING DIRECT! MERCURY IS GOING DIRECT! Sweet baby jebus, mercury is going direct!🙌

It has been a rough one for me so it’s celebration time now that it’s coming to a close on the 20th. This retrograde in the sign of Scorpio kicked my ass, bringing all sorts of craziness to my doorstep and phone. It was a weird mixture of dreams coming true, but then being reminded that these things being promised might not come to fruition at all. That’s the fuckery that retrograde time can bring, but I think the lesson is to see if you’re still not being realistic or honest with yourself about whatever situation is occurring, especially if it keeps showing up for you. For me, this retrograde was in my fourth house of family and home (traditionally the home of Cancer, speaking about your childhood home, family and ancestry) so instead of throwing myself head first into what was presented, I’m being more reserved and waiting to see what real action is being taken, before I commit all my energy into something that might not be real. It’s also highlighted for me my deep longing to just be wanted and to be a part of a bigger family that’s always there, unconditionally. But, even for all the keeping it real, I also had other family and friends coming out of the wood works letting me know how much they loved me, too. With Scorpio energy, there needs to be a death in order for a rebirth to happen, so it’s been another lesson in letting go of what I thought I wanted or what I’ve always fought for, and just being aware and grateful for what I do have. For me, I must remember that the family I need so badly is supposed to be built by me, or is already there, just with different, amazing people. Slowly but surely, Scorpio energy reminds me of this whenever it highlights my fourth house, helping me each time to release a little more, heal a little deeper, and stand a lot more in my power and knowledge of the love I do possess, with the ultimate understanding that home is within me. I’d like to think that’s what any retrograde time is about and I hope that whatever has shown up has offered you the same lessons, too.

As Scorpio season comes to a close on the 21st, this will be a transitional time as we move into lighthearted Sagittarius. So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this:  What house does Scorpio reside in for you and what did this retrograde highlight? What do you need to be reserved about in order to see what’s real and what’s not? What old thoughts, actions, or paradigms do you need to let go of in order to rebirth your situation to truly reflect on what you need and want? This week, be aware of what you do have despite the losses 💖

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is rose quartz. Rose Quartz is a mothering crystal, inspiring nurturing of the self if one has lost their own mother. It promotes bonding and is a good stone to place on the stomach during pregnancy, and to take to the hospital to be near the baby during birth. It is also soothing in the days to follow. Placing baby milk or food within a circle of Rose Quartz for a few minutes helps ease colic or feeding difficulties. To call in love or strengthen a romantic relationship, place pink roses and twin Rose Quartz hearts on a private love altar and light pink candles, or enclose a photo of yourself and a lover within a heart shape of tiny Rose Quartz crystals. Rose Quartz may also be placed by the bed or in the relationship corner of the home to restore trust and harmony, and encourage unconditional love. As a stone of love, tenderness and sensuality, Rose Quartz is a powerful aphrodisiac, stimulating sensual imagination. Rose Quartz is a wonderful sleep crystal for adults and children, providing beautiful dreams as well as preventing nightmares or night terrors. It also helps children to not be afraid of the dark. Rose Quartz is a calming and reassuring crystal, excellent for use in trauma or crisis, including the emotional upheaval of mid-life crisis. It strengthens empathy, sensitivity, and aids in the acceptance of necessary change. It is also an excellent stone for comforting grief. A large piece of unpolished Rose Quartz in the workplace provides ongoing protection against intrusion and gossip. It is also a professional support stone for beauty consultants. Overarching theme: The Hierophant: The Hierophant is a catalyst for profound learning. This energy often appears when you’re ready to expand your awareness or gain fresh insights. It may also introduce you to someone who has the potential to radically transform your worldview or beliefs, or a time when you are driven to explore or question your spiritual values or philosophies. This key encourages the pursuit of education or formal training, also within the dynamic of a group setting. What tools or resources can you connect with at this time? Whether it be a guide, teacher, mentor, class, program or community, now is a lovely period to seek out new avenues of exploration, or structures that build stability and clarity. This discovery will elevate your spirit and shift the course of your path into new, uncharted wisdom. Questions to ask yourself this week: How can I tune into my own spiritual path? What do I have yet to explore in this life? Additional Meanings: Teacher • Conduit • Lesson • Knowledge • Tradition.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Seven of Wands. Your card goes on to say that the Seven of Wands moves into the momentum of your power once you have reached a consistent plateau of success. This is a positive place to work from and comes with many blessings and gifts, but once you’re comfortable here, how are the energies around you going to stir and adapt? It could be that you will receive backlash or competition from others, as your accomplishments have attracted attention, and people will want what you have. As with any ripple effect you create in this world, there may be both positive and negative reactions as the Universe will always express its own balance and symmetry. Do not lose hope or confidence now. You need not worry about the views of other people. Stay strong. Stay true, and remember how you got here. This experience will only make you more resilient in the end. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I hold my strength and composure? What have I learned, after all of my highs and lows? Your mantra: I rise to a higher state of enlightenment. I stand strong and root my energies. Additional Meanings: Competition • Gain • Success • Strength • Defiance.
If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Ten of Cups. Your card goes on to say that the Ten of Cups is an enchanting message to receive. It signifies great happiness and all areas of relationships–family, friendship and romance–and asked you to make the most of what life has to offer. This is a blissful period of dazzling moments that ignite passion and play. When its underlying energy shows up, things don’t get much better than this. Now is the time to relax and let loose, and soak up new experiences! The deeper root of this message also encourages you to let go and shed the materialistic distractions, which allows you to forge a path of spiritual integrity. From here, you can dive deep, and dream of the foundation you really want to build in this life. As you align with this powerful heart energy, the silver linings are always visible–the glass is more than half full (it overflows!). A potent time of happiness and abundance is on the horizon! Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I focus on the positive light in this moment? How can I bask in the love that surrounds me? Your mantra: I relax into love and bliss. I treasure the moments that fill my cup. Additional Meanings: Friendship • Growth • Harmony • Fulfillment • Peace.
If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Hanged Man. Your card goes on to say that if you are feeling as though you are standing at crossroads, it may be an opportune time to fully absorb the directions or options that are being presented to you. It could be that you need to let go of something, or make some kind of sacrifice, which may initially leave you feeling vulnerable, raw, or exposed. Know that despite the sense of unease, this is a transitional phase in which you can recalibrate your beliefs, situation, or life goals in the long run. This key may also come as a result of those life-altering moments or experiences that have the potential to radically transform or shake your worldview. Connect back to the root of your intent and the inner pathways of your heart. Where do they want to lead from here? Questions to ask yourself right now: What are my options at this time? How am I honoring the path of my heart? Additional Meanings: Crossroads • Patience • Surrender • Intention • Sacrifice.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
