The week ahead: July 16th through July 22nd of 2018:

How you guys doing after last weeks new moon solar eclipse? Still recouping and replenishing your water reserves? Still organizing? Still looking for or restructuring home? If so, you aren’t alone, and being the very last week of Cancer season, we have a special doorway (thanks to the solar eclipse and new moon) to work powerfully with the themes of this season, which include family and home, safety and security, food and support, our mothers and mothering issues, our past or heritage and women’s issues. So continue to take your time and suss out what best fits your needs and those of your tribe, while taking action on what everyone agrees upon (cardinal signs like to get ‘er done).

Which honestly isn’t an easy task, considering we have a butt load (Actual scientific term. Nothing you say will change my mind) of planets in retrograde, including one comet (Chiron) that’s in charge of our deep inner healing work. Mercury goes retrograde next week as well and if you can already feel the slow downs and tech difficulties (I didn’t even bother with the weekly video–it’ll be back by the end of July), feel free to extend your middle finger high in the sky with me in solidarity. Go here if you need a refresh of what we’re dealing with all these planets and remember, all these retrogrades just ask us to go inwards and get some important things established, reworked, restructured, or even clarified and healed, so we can continue to grow and move forward, trusting in our own inner guidance.

So how can we work with the energy of this week? My advice is this: Which doors closed and which doors opened for you at this eclipse? How can you let those doors that closed stay so (10 points to Gryfindor for not leaving nail marks on the door frame of the door that closed), while walking freely through the ones that opened? If you find you’re clinging to a closed door, can you see how you’re allowing fear of the unknown to rule, instead of your powerful inner guidance? This week, walk through the open door. All your hopes and dreams include you being free, so don’t shut that off by clinging to something that isn’t for you anymore <3

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture above is a Green Chlorite Phantom Quartz. A Phantom is a crystal or mineral deposit within a crystal.  While the color of Phantoms will vary from crystal to crystal, depending upon the type of mineral of which they are made, Phantoms look like the “ghost” of a crystal within another crystal.  Phantoms are formed when the growth of a crystal has been interrupted and then begins to grow again.  Often, the original mineral gets washed away, leaving only the Quartz to grow afterwards. Quartz Phantoms are symbolic of universal awareness and the many phases of the cycle of life.  Phantoms are believed to bring great healing to the Earth by helping to assimilate the past. You can use Phantoms to facilitate inner growth, and when in need of help in understanding and resolving past issues in your life.  Meditating with Phantoms can help one uncover hidden information and repressed memories and bring them to the surface for final resolution and release.  This type of self-work can often precipitate great transformation in one’s life. Clear Quartz Phantoms are excellent for balancing and aligning all the Chakras to the Crown Chakra.  Those who are interested in spiritual growth and connection with the higher realms may find Clear Quartz Phantoms particularly helpful since the White Phantoms inside work with the Crown Chakra to integrate the experiences of the higher self into the other Chakras. While all Phantoms are facilitators for growth, Green Chlorite Phantom Crystals specifically work on self-healing and regeneration, and facilitate detoxification.  They help to ground excessive emotions into the Earth, thereby helping the user in achieving a state of balance. Green Chlorite Phantoms are great for helping one recognize the Earth as a living being, and connecting to Her on a soul-level.  Many energy workers use Green Chlorite Phantom Crystals when doing global healing, as well as personal and individual healing.  Green Chlorite helps to cleanse the aura and align the chakras, and this characteristic is amplified by the Quartz which houses it. If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Three of Swords. Your card goes on to say that this is a more ominous card than most, The Three of Swords suggest that something has left you feeling hurt, betrayed, or rejected. Although the presence of these emotions may feel overwhelming, know that within every challenging situation, a greater lesson is presenting itself. Acknowledge, honor, and process your feelings, but not play victim to their circumstances. How we face adversity can have a lifelong effect on our happiness and consciousness if we choose to habitually focus on the negativity. Your innate strength and wisdom will emerge, as you realize your full potential to grow and learn from past mistakes or obstacles. You alone have the power to rise above the shadows and reach a higher state of being. Additional Meanings: Heartbreak • Obstacles • Redirection of negative forces • Sacrifice • Loss • Learning • Healing.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about The Three of Cups. Your card goes on to say that the Three of Cups indicates a time of celebration, friends, family, and home. It represents a period of spiritual and psychic growth as you learn to raise your own vibration. You surround yourself with the people you love, and together you create wonderful, blissful memories. If you have been over-exerting yourself in some way, now would be a good time to relax and take a break. Give yourself permission to explore your hobbies and creative interests. What future adventures lie just beyond the horizon? Additional Meanings:Abundance • Healing • Solace • Family • Birth • Study.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Knight of Wands. Your card goes on to say that if this is about a situation: If there is something you have been planning on doing, now is the time to take action. This is a card of transformation and new opportunities. It is, however, advised that you move forward methodically and rationally. Make sure you have planned everything out accordingly, or else he may feel too rushed. If this is about a person: The Knight of Wands is an affectionate and disciplined individual. They’re able to balance their emotions in order to take power and control of their lives, but underneath the surface they are highly sensitive. This person does not forget harsh words easily and sometimes has trouble letting go of negative attachments. The Knight of Wands is also very enthusiastic when it comes to getting things done. They have the vision and drive to reach their goals, but can sometimes be too hasty or impulsive. Additional Meanings: Self-assured • Fearless • Confident • Restless.

My hope for you this week is that you don’t allow fear to rule your life. Is walking through that open door absofuckinlutely terrifying? Hell yeah! But do you want things to stay as they’ve been? If you say hell no, allow yourself to let go of that   door frame and let that door that closed, stay so. Give yourself permission to be free, my powerful one. You deserve freedom to pursue where your inner guidance is taking you <3

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
