We have a new moon in Gemini, Tuesday the 16th. It also looks like Mars conjunct the Sun and Moon, which means some potent warrior energy is getting thrown into the mix! So what does this mean for you? I means you should be careful about the words and thoughts you’re choosing right now. This warrior energy from Mars needs to be expressed somehow, and since Gemini rules communication, thinking, ideas, connection, change and movement, it only makes sense that you may start a war (war is not always a bad thing, if done for the right reasons) with words, ideas, or possibly a cause. You can avoid the negative aspect of war by being thoughtful and balanced in your approach to others and even yourself. Maybe you have a habit of talking down to yourself; this new moon pushes you to find the truth behind those words. Do you really think you suck and can do nothing right? Thought not, so use this energy to re-align yourself to your truth. That’s another highlight here as well: What is your truth? You might be one of the few that’s aligned perfectly with what you know and feel to be true in your world–congrats! For the rest of us working on this, it’s time to examine the truth from lies, fantasy from fiction, imagination from reality. It’s time to listen to your thoughts and hear the words coming from your mouth. Are you aware of the noise you put out? Are half of those thoughts and words even your own? If you answered a shy “No,” then it’s time to take inventory of who’s boss in the old cranium. What is the story you’re telling yourself? How is this story serving you? If it’s not in a positive way, its gotta go. Chuck it in the “f” it bucket and choose wiser things to tell yourself and others from now on–and this time, make sure it’s true 🙂
Go ahead and pick a card from above (chose one or chose them all, let your gut guide you). The little pink stone you see in the picture above is a carved rose quartz skull. There’s too much info to put about crystal skulls, but please go here if you’d like to know more!

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is related to the sign of Taurus. Your card goes on to say that there is a gentle quality to Taurus and an appreciation of the physical world that is grounded in earthy sensuality. Under this placid exterior lies a determined and often stubborn will. Romantic, productive, and responsible, Taurus can also be self-indulgent, and though slow to anger, may hold a grudge. The motto for Taurus is “I have.” So take a look around you this week and take some time to appreciate what you DO have and what IS working for you.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is related to the sign of Aquarius. Your card goes on to say that always on the cutting edge, Aquarius brings vision and imagination to any situation. While usually open minded, there can be a tendency to be insensitive to others if they are not willing to be as avant-garde or eccentric. Aquarius leads the way toward the future, but can be distant and detached in the present. The motto for Aquarius is “I see.” So take some time this week to see what may need to be changed in the present, so that your future is secure and safe.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is related to the Moon. Your card goes on to say that as the golden light of the Sun reveals the outer expression of personality, the silvery light of Luna, the Moon, brings its subtle influence to the inner life. This is the realm of emotions, intuition, and instincts. The unconscious mind is ruled by the Moon like the ocean’s tides, pulled toward the dreamy light in constant and changeable motion. The Moon enhances all psychic ability, and does not depend on logic or reasonable explanations. This is the province of the mysterious and the unseen. When Luna appears in your Oracle reading, it is a message to listen to your inner voice for guidance.

My hope for you this week is that you can find an inner balance between thinking and acting, fantasy and reality, speaking and listening. You have a chance here to find what your truth is, and to put it to good use in your life. If you do go to war with anything this week, let it be with the untruths you speak and tell yourself. Who has time for falsehoods anyway? If you have big plans like I’m sure you do, it’s certainly not you who needs to subscribe to that craziness anymore.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
