The week ahead: August 24th through August 30th of 2020:

Welcome to Virgo season, Lovelies!

You may notice this week that the energy is shifting, and where we once wanted to go out and and socialize, we might be more attached to focusing on our health and work, now.

Ruling the 6th house, Virgo’s sights are set on being of service, and the more hot mess express a person, project, or situation is, Virgo is drawn in, like a moth to flame. There’s something about fixing things and getting them to work right that’s so satisfying for them; it’s almost like a puzzle they HAVE to put together, so they also have a natural ability to organize, color code, and classify like nobodys business (can we say OCD?).

What’s interesting around the health bit, is that they aren’t concerned with just the physical body; this has more to do with the system as a whole. So understanding how the mind and emotions work in conjunction with how the body functions, will get these guys nerding out. You’ll find a lot of nurses, veterinarians, doctors and surgeons under this sign, or any profession that requires precision, focus, and a bent for healing on some level.

I know Virgos sound like all work and no fun, but truly, this is one of the funniest signs I know. It helps your timing when you’re so precise, and these guys know how to deliver a joke. It’s more observational humor, but they get right to the heart of what they see and they are not against dirty (and I mean filthy or dark) humor, too.

My kind of people.

Being an earth sign helps to keep these guys grounded and focused on the here and now, so if you ever need sage advice, don’t hesitate with these guys. Again, the more chaos and fuckery you are, the higher probability they’ll scoop you up and help you. They’ve also done a few things in their life and they love to research, so sharing what went well and what didn’t and being able to pass on good, solid, helpful information (they are ruled by Mercury) will remind them that everything they went through is now something that can help another, allowing them again to be of service; and that my friends, would make any Virgo’s heart happy 💖

So how do we work with the energy of this week? My advice is this: look for ways, especially in a situation where you feel stuck, that you can find the humor. I know you’re wondering how that can possibly help, but sometimes we get so wrapped up in the frustration that we actually make the issue worse, closing down our ability to look for alternative options or routes. By making jokes, it loosens us up and allows some joy to come in. Hopefully, this process takes us away from the frustration for a second and lets our creative side get to work. Another option this week would be to clean house–literally. Declutter and throw away, recycle, or donate anything you aren’t using. It’s another great option to help you feel as though you’re clearing away and making room for your situation to move, while you’re actually making more room in your space. What you want can’t come in to you if the spot is already occupied with something you don’t need.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is Blue Apatite. Blue Apatite is a motivational stone, promoting independence and ambitiousness. A stone of the Throat Chakra, Blue Apatite helps with public speaking and enhances group communication. Attuned to the Third Eye, it also improves concentration and memory skills, and is a good crystal for study purposes. It aids in time management when working on projects. Blue Apatite is particularly supportive for business consultants, and account or investment managers. It is equally helpful in times of unemployment or a reduction in work hours to find alternative employment, and may be supportive of those forced into early retirement. Blue Apatite can be used as a dream stone to access the subconscious for creative problem solving, as well as for exploring other lives and karmic patterns. Apatite enhances creativity and awakens the finer, inner self. It is a stone of the future and brings knowledge to those attuned to it. It may be used as an interface point between consciousness and matter to translate our humanitarian aspirations into healing, information, communication and teaching. Blue Apatite, when worn, carried, or used as an elixir, has successfully produced hunger suppression. It also helps alleviate fear associated with dental treatment. Overarching theme: The Hanged Man: If you are feeling as though you are standing at a crossroads, it may be an opportune time to fully absorb the directions or options that are being presented to you. It could be that you need to let go of something, or make some kind of sacrifice, which may initially leave you feeling vulnerable, raw, or exposed. Know that despite the sense of unease, this is a transitional phase in which you can recalibrate your beliefs, situation, or life goals in the long run. This key may also come as a result of life altering moments or experiences that have the potential to radically transform or shake your worldview. Connect back to the root of your intent and the inner pathways of your heart. Where do they want to lead from here? Questions to ask yourself right now: What are my options at this time? How am I honoring the path of my heart? Additional Meanings: Crossroads • Patience • Surrender • Intention • Sacrifice.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Six of Swords. Your card goes on to say that the Six of Swords highlights deep revolutions of transition and change; these may involve actual travel, or upcoming events that will open new doorways. As the light at the end of the journey may still be somewhat obscured, there may be an initial reluctance to move forward. Uncharted territory may often be frightening to navigate if you are unsure of how the future will unfold. Yet by taking this leap of faith, you may find that you will successfully relinquish certain energies or forces in your life that have held you back for far too long. As you keep on moving, you may begin to understand the advantage of letting things go as an evolutionary process, which further adds to the strength of your spirit. This is the ultimate rite of passage; when we shed our layers and evolve into a wiser, softer, and more resilient being. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I release the attachments that bind me? Am I ready to write a new chapter in my life? Your mantra: I am ready to embark on this new journey. I release what no longer serves me. Additional Meanings: Travel • Transition • Release • Reorientation • Change.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Knight of Pentacles. Your card goes on to say that the Knight of Pentacles is a wise soul who knows the value of working hard. They have seen and experienced more than most and live their life from a place of quiet, meditative wisdom. Their ability to plan ahead is key to their balanced lifestyle. They do what needs to be done, and reap the benefits in the long run. A loyal and responsible person, the Knight of Pentacles will always follow through on any promises or plans, and is very trustworthy, sharing their wisdom with those who seek their help. They are patient, level-headed and can think carefully in any situation, although often needing time to mull things over before taking any foreseeable risks. This key encourages us to commit to our goals and stay true to the process. If we align with perseverance and honorable spirit, there is nothing we cannot achieve. Questions to ask yourself right now: What can I explore or build after all of my hard work? How can I plan ahead with methodical vision? Your mantra: My work is strong in spirit. I set the foundation for love. Additional Meanings: Hard-working • Conservative • Stubborn • Nature lover.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Page of Pentacles. Your card goes on to say that the Page of Pentacles shines through when we are being called to activate something new. The initial steps towards our goals may still be in an early stage of gestation or planning, but within this dynamic energy is a surge of excitement that feeds our enthusiasm to build and invent. This Page is extremely visionary and keeps their eye on the prize as they forge their path towards it, one brick at a time, always listening closely to the internal compass of their heart. Their attentiveness to detail also helps them refine their approach to working, as they know how to gauge their output of energy, and see the importance of supporting their wellness. This card encourages us to think about how we can plan ahead and maintain the momentum of our success. Hard work and self-determination are powerful allies when it comes to getting things done, especially if we envision from the seat of our soul. Questions to ask yourself this week: How am I maintaining a balance of love, work, and play? Am I ready to see my dreams come to life? Your mantra this week: I trust my inner visionary. I build and create from the seeds of my soul. Additional Meanings: Adept • Visionary • Practical • Good omen • Dedication.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 😊
