The week ahead: August 10th through August 16th of 2020:

Leo season continues, as leadership positions, questions connected to our authentic self, protection for our children, and our new normal around fun, point us in differing directions.

It’s hard enough in a pandemic-free world to know where anything is going to land, so our current landscape seems skewed and unfair, asking us to make hard choices with no good answer to what we need to know most.

I know it may sound cheesy, but there’s something to be said for following your heart right now. The sign of Leo not only rules this organ in the body, but when used properly and with love at it’s core, can be a guiding light around what it is that truly supports your best good. With that being said, don’t disregard your logic either–use your brains as a solidifying agent to bring your ideas to fruition, and backup in finding practical steps for manifesting what it is you need.

The only thing I would watch out for is centering the story around yourself. Yes, there is a ton of pressure on you is so many different ways, but you aren’t the only one affected by what’s going on, so tune into those around you after you’ve taken care of yourself, especially the kids. As grown ass adults, the world can whip our ass on a regular basis, and for these incredible little ones watching the way we’re handling (or not) what’s happening, I can only imagine what they’re going through emotionally and mentally.

So just know this week that we’ll be juggling a million things and doing our best to handle what comes again, but as long as you’re heart centered in all you do and try to inject some fun in little ways, please know you’re making this world a better place, one person and one situation at a time–a real leader knows how to take care of their people, so don’t be afraid to step into that power when it shows up 💖

So how do we work with the energy of this week? My advice is this: what are some small ways you can make someone you love, smile? Maybe it’s ordering cookies or flowers and having them delivered, writing a note and sending it in the mail, watching your favorite movie or comedy together, fixing something that’s been on your list to do or even doing something for them on their list, setting up games in the backyard, or even just making a phone call and saying hi. Whatever you choose, just make sure the point is to get your person to smile. If you can do that, the world will seem like a much less scary and awful place, and I promise that everyone could use that energy right now.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is Citrine. Called The Merchant’s Stone for its properties of increase in the cashbox, sparkling yellow Citrine not only assists in acquiring wealth, but helps in maintaining it. It is a stone of abundance and manifestation, attracting wealth and prosperity, success and all things good. It also encourages generosity and sharing good fortune. Citrine assists in all fast money ventures, and is especially helpful in financial speculation and for commercial success. Carry one in the purse or wallet to attract money and stop excessive outflow. As a professional support stone, Citrine improves interactions for all who work in sales, merchant banking, casinos, sports and fitness instruction, and the media. It is a fortifying crystal for medical personnel and healers, and increases productivity in governmental work. Citrine strengthens the inner light and sparks creativity and imagination. It is ideal for artists of all kinds. Citrine is an excellent crystal for interpersonal relationships. It smooths family or group problems, and promotes solutions and cohesiveness. It also helps in understanding and dealing with absorbed impressions from those around us. Carrying a Citrine attracts love and happiness, and guards against those who would break your heart. It is also an effective shield against spite and jealousy. The gift of a Citrine angel or sphere to a newborn brings intelligence, health, happiness, curiosity, confidence, and healing wisdom. Natural Citrine tumble stones, placed where light catches them, clears unfriendly ghosts from an area. Sprinkle a Citrine elixir weekly to prevent the negative energies from returning. A small warning: Citrine may exacerbate aggressiveness in some. It is not recommended for those with a fiery, quick-tempered nature, and should be avoided by people with a tendency to slander or gossip. Place in the wealth corner of your home or business, or in the cash box. Citrine fades in sunlight. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

Overarching theme: The Hierophant: The Hierophant is a catalyst for profound learning. This energy often appears when you’re ready to expand your awareness or gain fresh insights. It may also introduce you to someone who has the potential to radically transform your worldview or beliefs, or a time when you are driven to explore or question your spiritual values or philosophies. This key encourages the pursuit of education or formal training, also within the dynamic of a group setting. What tools or resources can you connect with at this time? Whether it be a guide, teacher, mentor, class, program or community, now is a lovely period to seek out new avenues of exploration, or structures that build stability and clarity. This discovery will elevate your spirit and shift the course of your path into new, uncharted wisdom. Questions to ask yourself this week: How can I tune into my own spiritual path? What do I have yet to explore in this life? Additional Meanings: Teacher • Conduit • Lesson • Knowledge • Tradition.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about The Emperor. Your card goes on to say that The Emperor embodies a deep inner fortitude that reflects a personal code of conduct and strength. However, his greatest power emerges and transmutes through the joining of his heart and intellect. This is a creative energy that helps us each nurture and sustain more balance in our life – one that sees the brilliant design of interconnection, the importance of each stone in our greater foundation, and the merging of the spiritual and psychological realms. This gentle strength brings harmony and peace to where there is conflict and separation in our world, which defines true leadership and innovation. The Emperor encourages you to cultivate and build from the root of this power, galvanizing directly from the seeds of your heart. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I reinforce more structure in my life? How can I step up and lead from my heart? Additional Meanings: Discipline • Balance • Divine masculine • Success.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Ten of Cups. Your card goes on to say that the Ten of Cups is an enchanting message to receive. It signifies great happiness in all areas of relationships – family, friendship and romance – and askes you to make the most of what life has to offer. This is a blissful period of dazzling moments that ignite passion and play. When its underlying energy shows up, things don’t get much better than this. Now is the time to relax and let loose, and soak up new experiences! The deeper root of this message also encourages you to let go and check the materialistic distractions, which allows you to forge a path of spiritual integrity. From here, you can dive deep, and dream of the foundation you really want to build in this life. As you align with this powerful heart energy, the silver linings are always visible – the glass is more than half full (it overflows!). A potent time of happiness and abundance is on the horizon! Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I focus on the positive light in this moment? How can I bask in the love that surrounds me? Your mantra: I relax into love and bliss. I treasure the moments that fill my cup. Additional Meanings: Friendship • Growth • Harmony • Fulfillment • Peace.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Five of Swords. Your card goes on to say that the Five of Swords reflects self-inflicted energies that keep us in a stagnant place of negativity or loss. Through conflict, disagreements, or impulsive behavior, there has been an involuntary burdening of yourself or others. This card highlights pointless winning, and needing to be right regardless of the outcome and comes at a high cost that may alienate others. It is important to step back and take a look at the bigger picture. Put everything into perspective and realize where your true priorities and values lie. Are your opinions and views more important than your relationships? How are you affecting other people? Is your ambition coming from a place of love or fear? How can your words and actions transform this difficult situation into a positive light? Questions to ask yourself right now: Are there any adjustments I need to make along my path? How are my actions affecting the world around me? Your mantra: What I share returns. I seek love and release fear. Additional Meanings: Defeat • Mistrust • Disillusionment • Ego • Loss.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 😊
