The week ahead: February 17th through February 23rd of 2020:

This is the last official week of Aquarius season, so if you have any plans with your groups of friends, like going UFO hunting or Sasquatch catching, now is the time to set stuff up because we’ll be transitioning into Pisces season on the 19th. Going from a free and easy air season to an emotionally deep water season is a bit of a switch, so don’t be surprised if you feel more like being with yourself and your feelings or even partying so you don’t have to deal with feelings, going forward.

Pisces can be a bit avoidant of making choices, dreamy and ethereal, difficult to pin down and maybe even to fully understand, but I also think these tendencies lend themselves to their deep intuitive knowing and how they just trust that to guide them. Vastly different from Aquarius who thinks with their head as opposed to their heart, Pisces is all heart–maybe something to keep in mind during Pisces season and mercury retrograde, will be to combine what your head and the heart are saying to make better choices, or just to help you go with the flow.

Which brings me to Mercury Retrograde. Probably the most feared time by many, this chunk o time represents communication snafus, mechanical and technical delays, and the shitty ex showing back up on the scene. This time is so much more though! It offers us a much needed time to review what we’re doing to make sure we’re on course, or revive dead projects that can finally see the light of day, or even tell that shitty ex to go fuck himself like we should have originally. This is the time of second chances, so no need to hide under a rock until it’s over; allow yourself to thrive right now and work on what needs a second life. You deserve the opportunity to make sure you’re getting what you need and you certainly deserve a second chance at anything that’s been calling to you 💖

So how can we work with the energy of this week? My advice is this: Trust your intuition. Back up what you’re feeling with some research (if you can), and then take action when you’re ready. I think because Pisces is so fluid, they have a hard time with boundaries and clarity, so the biggest part of this retrograde will be about setting up boundaries around what you will and will not accept, as well as communicating as clearly as you can. Make your words count and matter; let them convey your goals and wishes but also where you draw the line. It’s a good thing to protect yourself and know where you begin and another ends. Not only is it good, it’s essential.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is Aquamarine. Associated with the Throat chakra, Aquamarine helps overcome the fear of speaking, and is an excellent stone for teachers and presenters of all types. It relaxes speakers to a stage of consciousness in which they are fully aware of their own truths, wisdom and feelings, and able to articulate them with clarity and conviction. It also allows one to speak clearly and without anger in difficult situations. Aquamarine accelerates the intellectual reasoning processes and enhances the ability for rapid response. It makes one unconquerable through learning, not only about the physical world, but about oneself. It bestows perseverance, discipline and light-heartedness. Aquamarine encourages the ideal of service to the world and to the development of a humanity attuned to healing. It emits a gentle and compassionate energy, promoting moderation and responsibility for ones’ actions. It inspires judgmental people to be more tolerant, and helps those overwhelmed by responsibility to find order. A stone of natural justice, Aquamarine utilizes compromise and negotiation, and gives quiet courage and clear reasoned words in confrontational situations. Pass Aquamarine over any written complaints you receive or before you send any out, wear or carry Aquamarine when visiting your child’s school because of a complaint, or when resolving neighborhood disputes over parking or boundaries. As a travel crystal, greenish blue Aquamarine protects those who journey by sea, alleviating the fear of water, and guards those involved in any long-haul travel such as flying or driving long distances. It is a good stone for learning to swim. As a love crystal, pale blue Aquamarine encourages a lover to return, helps two people with different lifestyles to live together in harmony, and reduces the effects of sensitive issues that cause quarrels. Aquamarine is often given as a love token or eternity ring, and increases commitment and fidelity “as long as the waters of the earth flow. Overarching theme: Five of Pentacles: The Five of Pentacles speaks of clouded states of disharmony or loss that appear through misfortune. This may also indicate an actual state of illness, a lack of finances, or feeling of rejection that leaves us deflated or scorned. Very often, these painful phases corrode a lasting impression on our spirit, slowly depleting our sense of security or peace. Over time, if we continue to dwell in this void, we may end up accumulating feelings of helplessness and victim hood, and may become co-dependent on others. Know that despite the hardships you may be experiencing, there’s still hope and support available. You have the power to come out of the situation in a new and positive light. Help may be closer than you think – is there a friend, loved one, or person you trust, whom you can reach out to at this time? Questions to ask yourself this week: How can I shift this challenge by reaching out for help? Are there any burdens or pains that need my attention? Your mantra: I rise above the ashes that divide me. I am ready to shake this shadow free. Additional Meanings: Lack • Hardship • Over speculation • Manifestation.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about The Lovers. Your card goes on to say that The Lovers are a potent symbol of the heart and can indicate a deep platonic friendship or romantic love in your life. This energy represents the soulful connections we make that call out beyond lifetimes or experiences. When we find someone who is truly familiar and safe, and resonant within our field of wisdom and beliefs. The choices you make, however, may also affect your future path, so it is still important to think them through on an individual level. How can you strengthen your own relationship with yourself, before building a strong connection with another? Remember to mutually honor and celebrate your own dreams and stories; your combined choices will always stand true when your foundation is equally imbued with self love and support. Questions to ask yourself right now: How am I honoring my own life path? Am I ready and open to receive or give love? Additional Meanings: Balance • Unity • Celebration • Friendship • Love.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Queen of Cups. Your card goes on to say that the Queen of Cups channels and creates from the intuitive realms and is deeply attuned to the wisdom of their heart. This type is a sensitive, nurturing individual who is always in sync with the needs of others, with a warm and tender personality that makes you feel at home from the moment you meet them. They give advice freely and unconditionally, always with love, but won’t bother with small talk or casual formalities – so expect to commune with them on the deepest of levels. Their connection to the boundless dimensions of the unseen realms gives them otherworldly insight and an ability to see through the veils of consciousness in time. The Queen of Cups also encourages us to reconnect with our spirit, by exploring the metaphysical or healing arts within our own self care practices. From here, we may learn to cultivate new visions that allow us to see beyond the structures of this world, and to enter dimensions of mysticism, intuition, and past lifetimes. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I tune into my psychic wisdom? What hidden knowledge is rising within me? Your mantra: I create and express from Divine wisdom. I harness my intuitive powers. Additional Meanings: Mystic • Healer • Sacred heart • Beauty • Intuition.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Three of Wands. Your card goes on to say that the Three of Wands marks a time in your life when you can look to the future with total clarity. You’re gaining momentum in achieving your dreams and are aware of how your creative planning has been pivotal in helping you make big decisions. This card is not necessarily about taking risks; rather, it highlights those moments when you study the path ahead in order to know exactly what tools or resources will be essential to your journey, and there’s a certain strength that comes with this preparedness. Along with the excitement of adventure that lies within this card, perhaps you have a wonderful system of support from the people in your life who nourish your enthusiasm. Don’t forget to treasure and soak up this magic – there’s nothing greater than mutual appreciation. The Three of Wands also indicates a higher state of awareness. You know what it takes to follow the true path. Questions to ask yourself right now: Am I ready to embark on this new journey? How do I truly envision my future unfolding? Your mantra: I follow the light that guides me. I trust the stepping-stones of my path. Additional Meanings: Vision • Expansion • Foresight • Intuition • Commitment.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 😊
