The week ahead: October 7th through October 13th of 2019:

This week is defined by the full moon in Aries on the 13th. Powerful, naive, courageous and short-tempered, this full moon looks to bring some intense energy to the table that’s asking us to stand up and be driven by our passion instead of anger or some kind of power play.

Full moons always bring things to a culmination and ask for a balancing of the energy: the axis between Libra and Aries is very focused on we (Libra) vs me (Aries) and our relationships will be up for review. You might be looking at who actually supports you, brings peace, or treats you in a fair and balanced way. All those that aren’t on board, no longer have a seat at the table, so make sure you’re also treating the ones most important to you the way you’d like to be treated, or you may lose out on a seat yourself.

You might be feeling too that you need (or are possibly pushed) to make a big decision, once and for all; just make sure if you do, it’s not an impulsive one. Aries aren’t known for always thinking through their choices, so be aware if you’re finalizing something, you’ve had time to really think about and weigh all your options–just don’t get lost in the thinking and weighing either, so once you know what you want to do, make it so. Striking a balance between all you do, not only this Libra season but also leading up to this full moon, will help keep you in check when it feels everything else is out of control. When in doubt, look to see where choosing peace is a courageous act–this is your path forward.

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: instead of the questions I offer to think about, consider instead at the full moon to take a couple of whole bay leaves and writing on them a word or sentence about what you’d like to attract to you now, or even the mantra you get with your card(s) this week. Once you’re done, light those bia’s on fire, and as you see the bay leaves turning to smoke, speak out loud the words, thoughts, feelings, wants and needs, or prayers that you’d like expedited your way, and call upon your loved ones in Spirit, guides, Angels, deities or God(s) to assist in this process. Remember that we all have personal abundance we can call upon, so don’t worry that you’re asking for too much or that you might take from another. Tap into your own manifesting abilities and let the Universe know you’re ready for your abundance now.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is orange kyanite. Orange Kyanite, a fairly new crystal found in Tanzania, gets its golden orange/brown coloring from inclusions of Manganese.  This is the stone of creativity, whether artists, writers, performers or musicians. Balancing the Sacral Chakra, Orange Kyanite increases our senses, self-esteem and communication skills, enabling us to use our intuition in our decision-making.  It increases creative thinking, sexuality, and clairsentience. Orange Kyanite instills a sense of child-like joy in all of us, enabling us to put our imaginations to work and then get out there and share our creations with others, without fear of judgment.  It guides us in facing challenges head-on, especially those with addictions. Orange Kyanite eases depression and helps to bring back a sense of optimism and positive-thinking. Physically, Orange Kyanite assists with overcoming eating disorders; helps with libido and fertility problems; eases disorders of the bladder, digestive system and kidneys. Kyanite is a fibrous mineral that can be found in many other colors, including blue (the most common), black, green, yellow, orange, and white. Kyanite transmits and amplifies high-frequency energies, making it a great stone for attunements, meditation, and dream-work. Kyanite brings a calming, tranquilizing energy to the body, centers you in preparation for meditation, and assists in receiving intuitive and psychic thoughts, as well as dream recall. Kyanite restores Qi (or Ki) to the physical body, and balances yin/yang energies. If you’d like to know more about this stone, please go here.

Overarching theme: Eight of Cups: Life is an ongoing journey filled with continuous peaks and valleys. This can be a blissful adventure for those of us who are ready to dive in; for others, momentum and change can be a difficult thing to grasp, when comfort and stability have built a safety net around us. It may be times when we reach challenging crossroads along the way, and with reluctance, we must leave something behind in order to move on. This can be gut-wrenching, as our emotions and memories may want to hold on, but shedding the burdens of our past often initiates deep evolution. We may feel free to seek unmarked roads and new foundations–places within and around us that we never knew existed. This is the new chapter, waiting to be written. Where would you like to go from here? Some questions to ask yourself this week: How can I envision this next chapter of my life? Am I ready to let go of the unhealthy attachments? Your mantra for the week ahead: I am ready to write this next chapter. I treasure the sacred memories, within my heart. Additional Meanings: Moving on • Growth • Healing • Sacrifice • Retreat.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the King of Cups. Your card goes on to say that the most imaginative, sensitive and psychic of all the Kings, this individual is ruled by the sacred wisdom of the heart. As natural leaders, they exude a sense of diplomacy and awareness that seems to illustrate control over their emotions, but underneath the surface they are highly sensitive and intuitive. The King of Cups encourages us to celebrate the blissful gifts that life has to offer, while not taking the beauty around us for granted. They may have a tendency to become lost within the dimensions of their own inner worlds, and can lose touch with the feelings of others if they are not mindful. This King needs a healthy amount of creative outlets, to remain happy and healthy, which also rings true to the underlying message of this key: it is important for us to express and source from the gateway of our heart. Doing so helps us ignite purpose and meaning in our life. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I maintain a healthy balance with my heart? How can I reach out and support my relationships? Your mantra: I align with the Divine principle of love. I trust in my intuitive strength and foresight. Additional Meanings: Nurturing • Diplomatic • Strong • Generous • Emotional.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the King of Pentacles. Your card goes on to say that the King of Pentacles is an accomplished individual who thrives on living life to the fullest. Their notions of success are grand and ambitious, and they often follow a streamlined route to their goals. This person has likely refined their wisdom down to a strong sense of material stability, while always being mindful of their own foundation. This is a place of power and strength. The King of Pentacles adores the opulent richness of the world and doesn’t hold back from exploring its beauty–weather through seeking physical prosperity or the natural landscapes of the Earth. There’s also a stable, pragmatic energy in this heart that exudes warmth and loving care for others. The King of Pentacles encourages us to think big, follow our dreams, and believe that anything is possible. This speaks of an intuitive strength that takes nothing for granted, in seeing the rich opportunities of life. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I enforce my focus, to rise to new heights? How can I celebrate the beauty of this world? Your mantra: I bask in the beauty around me. I harness my power to build and create. Additional Meanings: Security • Reliable • Supportive • Disciplined • Power.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about The High Priestess. Your card goes on to say that The High Priestess evokes a sacred inner wisdom that resides within us all. This is a powerful, mysterious force that taps into ancient forms of knowledge, perhaps even connecting to previous lifetimes or earthly incarnations. What seeded memories are rising within you now? When this key shows up, she encourages you to explore your intuition and dreams, and to trust in any new insights or teachings that resonate with your heart. The High Priestess exists as a conduit of the many lost teachings that are now emerging within the new wisdom keepers and mystics of the earth. She has shown up in many different forms since the dawn of time, initiating us into our higher Divine truth. She is Isis, Persephone, Mary, Ishtar, and the eternal Goddess of 10,000 names. Questions to ask yourself right now: What deeper messages are being shared through my intuition, dreams, or visions? How can I connect to the wisdom of the Universe? Additional Meanings: Mystery • Akashic records • Intuition • Awakening.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
