The week ahead: September 30th through October 6th of 2019:

We’re officially settled into Libra season, which means (for the most part) Venus is in charge right now. As the sign of the scales, peace reigns supreme and so does finding the balance or even the truth of a situation, so justice can prevail. Being an air sign, an evolved Libra loves to communicate, connect and collect information on an intellectual level so they can bring beauty to this world through their gift of social graces, charm, and compromise.

They’re also snazzy dressers, love to party, but can have a difficult time balancing out the finances and they’re relationships, as they have a tendency to keep the peace to deflect fighting, even at the expense of their own inner harmony.

Speaking of taking back your power, Pluto also goes direct this week on the 3rd, which means it’s time to direct our power outward again. Anytime a planet retrogrades, it only means we’re going inward with our energy, which can be difficult for some. Pluto isn’t an easy planet to contend with either, especially if you’re not ready to face the shadows, secrets, or lies you’ve told yourself, or even be able to let go of toxic people or situations. Since Pluto also represents birth, death and rebirth, you may have been going through this emotionally, mentally or physically for the last 5 months, in relation to those themes, wondering why some of this darker stuff has such a hold on you. Look to see where Pluto lies in your chart to get a better understanding around what’s transpired in your inner world, and as Pluto goes direct, give yourself the gift of cutting cords of attachment to the shit that keeps you stuck, stagnant, in denial or in pain.

So, how do we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: what areas around power and control (or lack thereof) have been brought up for you the last 5 months, and what can you do to break free from that hold now? What situation can use some compromise and how can the outcome be fair for all involved? Where can the influence of beauty and peace help you to achieve your goals? This week, take back your power and do it with grace.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone. The stone you see in the picture above is black kyanite. Black Kyanite aids in the manifestation of vision and clairvoyance. Full of healing energy, Black Kyanite is a favorite among energy healers, and is especially helpful in body layouts. Black Kyanite can be placed on any chakra to send healing energy to any tears or holes in the chakras and the aura. Its fan shape can help to sweep away any unwanted energies. Black Kyanite can also help to open the lines of communication between people. Keeping a piece with you can help out in situations of conflict or misunderstanding. Use Black Kyanite for grounding during a chakra alignment or meditation. Black Kyanite works with all Chakras, focusing most on the Root Chakra. Many crystal healers like it because it can be grounding and energizing at the same time. Black Kyanite is an excellent meditation tool. Meditating with Black Kyanite can help one to come up with important insights resulting from exploration of the subconscious mind. Often used to explore past-lives, Black Kyanite can also help one to anticipate how current actions affect future lives. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.
