The week ahead: August 19th through August 25th of 2019:

This is the final week of Leo season, so soak up the sun and fun while you can, my powerful ones! Come the 23rd, we’ll be moving in to the sign of Virgo where we’ll be ready to organize, structure, and get down to business on important projects.

I always find it to be interesting energy during transition weeks–you can sense a new vibe enter the scene and sometimes you can even see it in your physical environment; ie everyone is going back to school (Virgo) as all the beaches and summertime spots (Leo) are emptying out for the year.

The signs changing from romance and fun to structure and organization, can kinda feel like a bummer too, but I think if we work with the energy present, now would be perfect time to take a last mini vacation or getaway and relax, before you dive back into anything you started working on before the solstice and retrograde fuckery. The last sendoff before we get deep into our projects might actually be inspiring, helping us to find creative answers to issues we encountered back in June and July.

Fresh off that full moon in Aquarius last week, we still might be sorting out all the strange occurrences that popped up (messages, happenstances, and synchronicities abounded), or possibly still high off the excitement of saying yes to our uniqueness or weirdness that we previously kept under lock and key. I think no matter what occurred for you, a breath of fresh air was much needed and this full moon delivered it in powerful bursts of controlled or semi-controlled chaos.

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: as the seasons change again, what things need wrapping up and what now needs revisited or re-opened for you? How can you find a balance between having fun and getting yourself set up for success and productiveness, going forward? If you received any, what messages or synchronicities need followed up on and what action steps can you now take? This week, enjoy yourself before you get work. This last respite will energize you up for being in boss mode the rest of the month!

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone. The stone you see in the picture above is carnelian. Like the unexpected fire of a sunset, or the first flash of autumn brilliance, Carnelian captivates. Its bold energy brings a rush of warmth and joy that lingers, stimulating and empowering. Known as a stone of motivation and endurance, leadership and courage, Carnelians have protected and inspired throughout history. A glassy, translucent stone, Carnelian is an orange-colored variety of Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. Its color varies from pale pinkish-orange to a deep rusty brown, though it is most known for its brilliant orange and red-orange crystals. Its name comes from a Latin word meaning “flesh.” In antiquity, as well as today, Carnelian is believed to help timid speakers become both eloquent and bold. Ancient Warriors wore Carnelian around their neck for courage and physical power to conquer their enemies. In Egypt it was worn by master architects to show their rank of builder, and alchemists of the Middle Ages used it as a boiling stone to activate the energy of other Chalcedonies. As the first stone in the breastplate of the High Priest, it signified the blood of the martyrs, and was once believed to prevent illness and the Plague. The ancient Egyptians called Carnelian “the setting sun.” In its orange hues, they identified it with the receptive or passive female energies, and associated it with the fertile menstrual blood of the mother goddess, Isis. In its red, red-orange to reddish brown shades, they considered it the active male energy stone, recognized by its glowing vibrant color. Carnelian is traditionally worn to enhance passion, love, and desire. Overarching theme: Four of Wands: Success! You reached a period of completion after all of your hard work. This card indicates a time of celebration and an outpouring of positive energy. With this newfound success, it’s also an ideal time to organize celebratory gatherings with family members and loved ones. An emergence of peace and stability is on the horizon, and you understand the process and pay off of working hard towards your goals. You’re able to nurture your loving relationships with others, and bring wisdom and abundance into the lives of the people around you. Additional Meanings: Prosperity • Peace • Completion • Stability.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about Strength. Your card goes on to say that your strength and courage will only increase as you believe in your innate ability to learn, heal, and evolve. This is a powerful card that regards the alignment of your higher self–one who is full of grace, love, and compassion. You are strong enough to move through any obstacle that life may throw at you, which also highlights your state of consciousness. Understanding how Strength mostly comes from within is directly related to how you harness your own energy–this leads to spiritual ascension as you are able to identify the vibrational qualities of your thoughts. Remember, it is also important to treat others with compassion, love, and kindness. Strength also comes from being mindful of how we interact and communicate with the people around us. Questions to ask yourself right now: How am I acknowledging my inner strength and facing my fears? What have I learned, after all that I have been through? Additional Meanings: Self-awareness • Courage • Self-mastery • Confidence • Determination • Skill.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about Awakening. Your card goes on to say that Awakening is the understanding of your inner divine intelligence. You can look back on the choices you have made and identify the lessons you have learned, with each step advancing towards your own spiritual Ascension. No more fears. No more doubts. No more self judgement. This is a time of transformation: through elevating your thoughts, speaking your truth, and connecting with the divine light that ignites within you–this is a time of profound spiritual change. From each stage of learning, you may find yourself at a crossroads, on the verge of making an important lead forward. This also indicates that something you’ve been anticipating is finally getting closer. Divine wisdom comes from letting go of any negative feelings you’ve been harboring towards others or yourself. Holding onto guilt, fear, or resentment cannot serve you in any way and prevents you from connecting with your higher self. It’s time to release the old attachments and practice forgiveness. Questions to ask yourself right now: Do I need to forgive myself for someone else? What am I resisting at this time? Am I ready to take the next step in my own healing and transformation? Additional Meanings: Epiphany • Letting go of guilt • A period of improvement • New beginnings • New jobs • Transition • Renewal.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Five of Swords. Your card goes on to say that the Five of Swords indicates a state of entrapment and negativity that has been self-inflicted. Through conflict, disagreements, or impulsive behavior, there’s been an involuntary burdening of yourself or others. It is important to step back and take a look at the bigger picture. Put everything into perspective and realize where your true priorities and truths lie. Are your opinions and views more important than your relationships? How are you affecting other people? Is your ambition coming from a place of Love, or fear? How can your words and actions transform this difficult situation? Additional Meanings: Defeat • Loss • Disillusionment • Gossip • Mistrust • Selfishness • Ego.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
