The week ahead: March 27th through April 2nd:

1

We have a new moon in Aries tonight! Can you feel the power? 🙂 The first new moon of the season is a pretty potent new beginning– Aries is the first of the zodiac and hitting the road running and doing what they love is all a part of the package. Being a fire sign, Aries want to jump headfirst and ask questions later, letting their passions guide them along their path. You’re being asked right now to listen to the call of your soul; who are you and what do you want? If you still don’t know the answer to these questions or even if you do know the answers but you’re fighting to live them in your life, consider the responsibility you have to yourself first to bring your dreams/goals/projects/aspirations to fruition. The only way you can even begin to start that journey is to know who you are and what you’re about, and to know those things, you need to love yourself and face all that you are. Venus is still retrograde until the 15th of April, so this self love talk is going to be all the rage right now and reminds us that if you really want a new beginning in your life, you must start from within.

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: How can you seek what challenges you? Who are you and what are you about? If you know what matters to you, then how can you better define your goals more clearly? As I’m writing the weekly I’m already getting messages on my Facebook page asking what the heck is happening in the Universe right now–believe me, I hear you guys. This Venus retrograde has been whooping my ass, taking me back to past relationships, asking me to find new perspectives.  I’ve been brutally honest with myself because I was the one who kept making the choice to pursue relationships with a-holes (both friends and loves). When I think about what was done to me or how I was treated, I cringe with embarrassment that I would allow anyone to treat me poorly. Why didn’t I love myself then? Why is this coming back up for me now? I thought I was over this! I’m pretty sure most issues stem back to childhood and thinking about my relationship with my father answered a couple of those questions. When you’re treated like you’re never good enough, you believe it. Then you take this belief and you allow it color your choices and behavior, especially if you’re unaware that this is something motivating you. Each one of those people (including my father) taught me something invaluable though: what is my worth? Segway into why I think this came back up for me, is believing in myself and my mediumship, I have a tendency to keep myself small and I don’t talk about my readings or my work very much. I always fear that I’m not good enough, even though I’ve never heard that from a single person I’ve read for. I realized this issue branched off into more than just relationships with others; it was first and foremost an issue with myself.  So how do I fix this? First, I take responsibility for the choices I’ve made in my life. Yes, my father started this crazy train, but I took it all the way to the station, so it belongs to me now. Second, I’m resolving to do one thing per week to help me know and see my worth, whether that be exercising, meditating, or being honest about my mediumship and my fears surrounding it so I can just work through it already. Finally, I promise myself to be brave and push my boundaries with my mediumship work and just be open about who I am and what I’m about (I believe in unicorns and I don’t care who knows anymore 😀 ). Failing or getting things wrong is just a part of the journey and proves that I’m here and trying, not a finality of who I am. This is going to be a process, but I’m so sick of the me that doesn’t know my personal worth, that I’m willing to do anything to change that story forever and to step up and be the person I needed so badly when I was younger. This week, start your new journey of love from within and know your worth; your soul is ready for some growth and to release those attachments to the past ❤

New Moon Meditation

Consider doing an invocation, prayer or mediation on the night of the 29th or 30th to help you break free from old habits or to help you get clear on your new way of living. Feel free to use this invocation or make up your own. I like to write down what I’m trying to work towards and keep it in a place I can see it everyday. At the full moon, I’ll check off what I’ve accomplished towards my goals and reassess what working and what’s not.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture is rose quartz. The fair and lovely Rose Quartz, with its gentle pink essence, is a stone of the heart, a Crystal of Unconditional Love. It carries a soft feminine energy of compassion and peace, tenderness and healing, nourishment and comfort. It speaks directly to the Heart Chakra, dissolving emotional wounds, fears and resentments, and circulates a Divine loving energy throughout the entire aura. Reawakening the heart to its own innate love, it provides a deep sense of personal fulfillment and contentment, allowing one the capacity to truly give and receive love from others. Called the Heart Stone, Rose Quartz may have been used as a love token as early as 600 B.C. and is still an important talisman of relationships. It is quite effective in attracting new love, romance and intimacy, or in developing a closer bond with family or friends. It supports connection within groups and community, and carries a high spiritual attunement to the Earth, Universe, and the Divine. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the King of Cups. Your card goes on to say that If this is about a situation: A state of emotional strength and control over one’s life. The ability to balance creativity and artistic expression with knowledge and wisdom. The connection of your inner voice and higher self. Seeing the spiritual teachings in every situation. An emotional maturity that comes from the acceptance and understanding of Unconditional Love. If this is about a person: The most sensitive and psychic of all the kings, this individual is ruled by both the head and the heart. This person holds the deep wisdom that comes from the acknowledgement of Love and emotion, but also the subconscious and conscious states. A highly compassionate and caring individual who has a strong emotional maturity. This person is very self aware and offers positive counsel and advice to others. Additional Meanings: Nurturing • Emotional • Psychic • Wise • Strong • Sensitive.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about The Moon. Your card goes on to say that The Moon is a card of sensitivities, dreams, imagination, and psychic powers. It may indicate a time of insecurity due to external influences or forces in your life. Who or what is holding you back from connecting with your Higher Self? The Moon also addresses the deeper realms of the subconscious, and the shadow thoughts and feelings we experience as humans. It is important to acknowledge the side of yourself as the balancing mirror to your lighter or happy or facets, but not to let it take over your mind completely. The Moon is also a card of Illusion–things are not necessarily as they seem. It is, therefore, important to let go of any past traumas or influences that are distorting your perception. Remember; we create our experiences and reality from the vibrational quality of our thoughts. The power of your mind is limitless. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I work with the darker aspects of my thoughts and feelings in order to move forward? How can I work with my shadow self and honor every part of my being? How can I tune into my psychic abilities? Additional Meanings: Disillusionment • Anxiety • Dreams • Intuition • Fear • Mystery • Imagination • Shadow work.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Akashic Records. Your card goes on to say that when we learn that we are in fact co-creators of our own realities, we are accessing the most optimal vibrations of potential experiences available to us, and are effectively working with the Akashic records. When we talk about connecting with our “Higher Self”, we are also describing an understanding of our own Akashic records. We can connect with this source of loving information in order to awaken and be the best versions of ourselves. When you begin questioning your reality and become more aware of your spirit (just as you are aware of your own physical body), the universe has a funny way of helping you out–providing you with divine clues, synchronicities, and truths along the way. When this card shows up, it is a reminder of the endless possibilities and limitless potentials that are surely available to you through the Akashic records–these can be accessed in various ways–through insights, imagination, past-life memories, intuitive glimpses, meditation, dreams, prayer, high frequency foods, energetic downloads, loving connections with others, listening to music, dancing, exercising your body, exploring nature and the outdoors, interacting with animals, being creative, learning and gaining wisdom, and overall, following your heart. It defines being able to access your greatness, and the power to change your life for the better by being open and making healthy choices. Through learning to release the ego, self judgement, or judgment of others. By practicing forgiveness and unconditional love–there are so many contributing factors that may provide a clear navigation of your own Akashic records. It is a great journey that we each have the potential to take–are you ready to access the spark of your being? You were the one you have been waiting for!

My hope for you this week is that you’re so sick of going over the same issues for yourself that you’re ready for a change, too. Let this spur you into guided action and remember to tell yourself that you’re worthy of all the beautiful things coming your way, whether you’re ready to heal or not.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
