Buckle in Lovelies, shits about to get real this week.

To start off, welcome to Leo season! As of yesterday, we moved into the sign of the lion. Heart centered, warm, gregarious, and just a touch dramatic, Leo’s are well known as the leaders, actors, managers and entertainers of the zodiac. Some themes that might be coming up right now could be centered around having fun, our children and creative projects, how we present ourselves to the world, being a leader or the star role in our own story, our generosity, our ego, our actual heart and heart health along with our vitality and our joy for life. Being a fire sign, I would be remiss to not mention passion, so don’t be surprised if all of a sudden you feel a certain urge to start moving on projects that stir up or help you channel all that stokes that fire in your soul.

We still have 4 planets and 1 comet (Chiron) in retrograde right now, again, calling us to focus on the themes they bring to the table, including Mars (in Aquarius), Saturn (in Capricorn), Neptune (in Pisces), Pluto (in Capricorn) and Chiron (in Aries) while building up to Mercury (in Leo) going retrograde on the 25th. These themes ask us to reassess if the action (Mars) we’re taking, the lessons (Saturn) we’re learning, the higher knowledge and personal magic (Neptune) we can access, the personal power (Pluto) we have, or the deep inner healing (Chiron) is being used to the best of our abilities or if we’re even facing it at all, while prepping to make sure how we communicate (Mercury) is truly getting across what we mean or want. We have A LOT to take into consideration right now, and this is the best time to restructure if it isn’t. When things go direct, that’s our green light to get to work with all the knowledge we’ve gleaned from this time. Until then, don’t back down from what shows up, and when in doubt, go inwards and ask yourself what you truly want from all of this deep inner work. The clearer you get about your needs and wants, the better you’ll be able to integrate what you’ve learned.

Finally, we have a full moon lunar eclipse in the sign of Aquarius on the 27th. This looks to be a real doozy of a full moon, highlighting where we need to shut the door on what’s no longer working, and we’re finally ready to do so. The awesome astrologer Annie Heese from cafeastrology.com says,

“On Friday afternoon, a Full Moon occurs when the Leo Sun opposes the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time—a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.

This Full Moon is a total Lunar Eclipse. A Lunar eclipse is an especially potent lunation — in this case a potent Full Moon. Lunar eclipses are relationship-oriented. The “crisis” that these eclipses tend to elicit is a crisis of lack–a time when we suddenly realize a great need or want. The impact of the crisis can act to sever a relationship–it’s possible. But it can also bring two people together with a sudden awareness of a great need for each other. Although Lunar eclipses are more relationship-oriented than Solar eclipses, they are not always about relationships between two people. They can trigger awareness of need in other areas of our lives, such as our relationship to work, to our health and bodies, and so forth. This is a time when matters come to light–things that have been brewing under the surface.

Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and polarities. With the Leo-Aquarius axis involved, this Lunar Eclipse presses us to look more closely at our needs, lacks, and wants in our lives. The Leo-Aquarius polarity deals with the balance between all that is personal (Leo) and all that is impersonal (Aquarius). The energy of Leo is creative self-expression and the boost to the individual ego that we receive through pleasure and romance, while Aquarius rules the group, more impersonal friendships, and objectivity.

This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between romance and friendship, and between expressing ourselves in personal and impersonal ways. The Leo Sun is proud and intensely individual—not content with simply being just one of the team. The Aquarius Moon, while individualistic as well, values the team. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict. Some sort of crisis (which can be a crisis of consciousness) or sudden awareness of a lack in our lives provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs within the context of the house polarity where the eclipse occurs in our natal charts. Relationships may be challenged, broken, or strengthened dramatically at this time. Our discovery is emotionally charged and dramatic. Epiphanies are likely at this time as we become acutely aware of our lack.”

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: You saying what you mean as of late, or are you holding back for fear of hurting someone? What have your needs and wants been telling you lately, and are you adhering to the advice you keep receiving? This week, tap into your wants and needs by being acutely aware of what you’re lacking. You’ve been getting signs for a while now about what those are to you. Time to listen and do something about it <3

Think about drawing down the moon this week. The full moon (and lunar eclipse) is a time when relationships of all kinds are highlighted, including the one with yourself. It’s also a time when projects started at the last new moon can be harvested or completed. Take stock right now of any imbalances in your partnerships and wrap up projects that need to move on to the next level. You can also set out a bowl of water at this full moon to soak up all the energy. You can use it later to scry in or use the water to nourish yourself with. If you like to do incantations, prayer or mediation at the full moon, this will add some pep to your step. I like this Pagan/Wiccan incantation I found that says, “Mother Goddess, lend me your light. Give me your power on this faithful night. I invoke you into my being and soul. Fill up my vessel, make me feel whole. I stand before you in awe and in love. I cherish your gifts you send from above. I ask you tonight to show unto me. My mother, my Goddess, So Mote It Be.” Feel free to change this in any way you like or to make it your own, any way you see fit. Make sure to face the full moon and out stretch your arms so you can take everything in. Enjoy this powerful energy!

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture above is fulgurite. The lightning stone, fulgurites are some of the most powerful stones and along with the power of prayer, they can help to manifest one’s visions. Fulgurites have a high-frequency vibration and seem to hold a clear, strong resonance with the powerful electrical force that created them. Their extreme “lightning energy” is believed to be the touch of the Divine. This energy, which now resides in them, acts as a magnifier of one’s clearer intention, building a powerful resonance between oneself and the powers of the higher Universe. Fulgurites are powerful stones for grounding. Their energy can be used to arouse the Kundalini forces at the Root Chakra and move through each Chakra at every level of our light body, purifying and cleansing the entire system. The empowering energy from this stone opens the higher Chakras to Divine energy. It opens and clears the psychic and intuitive senses, encourages our sense of creativity and inner power, allows for assistance with divine prophecy and helps one in rapidly connecting with the frequency of the Universal truth through prayer or meditation. Fulgurite has shown to help one to experience major breakthroughs when kept close and to release habitual patterns that no longer serve us. This a particularly beneficial stone for healers, teachers, psychics and channelers as well as others who need to accurately relay information and guidance from the higher realm. Fulgurite can quickly clear negative patterns from the emotional body and assist in clearing all forms of anger and confusion within relationships. Fulgurite is also excellent at shedding light on the karmic aspects of relationships with others in your life. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Nine of Swords. Your card goes on to say that the Nine of Swords indicates a state of inner disharmony and habitual worrying. It can also reflect depression, insomnia, or psychological fear, therefore, it is extremely important that you find a way of shifting your mindset. Stop being so hard on yourself and realize that things may not be as bad as you think. Seek counsel and connect with the people you love. If there is an issue that is bothering you, address it head-on and release the attachments you have made. Your life is full of amazing, infinite possibilities and Universal Love. Know that you deserve to be happy, and that a positive outcome is closer than you think. Additional Meanings: Fear • Illusion • Despair • Isolation.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Seven of Crystals. Your card goes on to say that the Seven of Crystals indicates a new perspective of your life goals. It could be, that you feel as though you have worked very hard but are still in the process of reaping the rewards. Now is not the time to give up! If you’re feeling stuck or idle at the moment, take some time to rest and reevaluate your next steps. Perhaps you’ve learned more than you thought possible along the way and have shifted your priorities unexpectedly. It can simply be a matter of gaining a new perspective and trusting your instincts, mind, body, and spirit. Look at your life, and think of all that you have accomplished and all that you are grateful for. This phase is simply a pause in your journey. Additional Meanings: Anticipation • Contemplation • Visions • Intuition • Meditation • Spiritual truth.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about Awakening. Your card goes on to say that  awakening is the understanding of your inner divine intelligence. You can look back on the choices you have made and identify the lessons you have learned, with each step advancing towards your own spiritual ascension. No more fears. No more doubts. No more self-judgement. This is a time of transformation: through elevating your thoughts, speaking your truth, and connecting with the divine light that ignites within you–this is a time of profound spiritual change. From each stage of learning, you may find yourself at a crossroads, on the verge of making an important leap forward. This also indicates that something you have been anticipating is finally getting closer. Divine wisdom come from letting go of any negative feelings you have been harboring towards others or yourself. Holding onto guilt, fear, or resentment cannot serve you in any way and prevents you from connecting with your Higher Self. A time to release the old attachments and practice forgiveness. Questions to ask your self right now: Do I need to forgive myself or someone else? What am I resisting at this time? Am I ready to take the next step in my own healing and transformation? Additional Meanings: Epiphany • Letting go of guilt • A period of improvement • New beginnings • New jobs • Transition • Renewal.

My hope for you this week is that you stand up and commit to giving yourself the very best you can. Sometimes that means leaving people and situations behind, and sometimes it means staying and working shit out. However this plays out for you, please make sure you take into account your happiness and your needs <3

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
