20 Feb The week ahead: February 20th through February 26th:
Welcome to Pisces season, Lovelies! It’s time to get trippy 🙂 We’re now moving on from a mental/head space in Aquarius to a heart centered arena where our emotions and feelings will take center stage, while our intuitive insights and impressions will be guiding the way. When I think of Pisces, I think of going with the flow and these guys know just how to do that. The sign of the fish can teach us a lot about learning to feel for fluctuations around us and becoming more adaptable to shifting energy, emotions, and situations. Ruled by the planet Neptune, these sweet fish are incredibly intuitive, compassionate, and caring with a love of music and the arts. These guys have almost no boundaries though, so make sure this week if anyone oversteps or tries to force you to do anything that you don’t want to, that you take a moment and reinforce whatever boundaries you have in place—you can say no and still be loving.
We also have that solar eclipse new moon coming up on the 26th/27th and it’s in Pisces as well, so expect ALL the emotions to be coming to the surface. For some of us, this sounds like a trip to hell– I mean, who wants to deal with all those feelings?? Let me tell you why it’s important though: this new moon represents our inner feelings, emotions, and desires being illuminated so we can see and understand them clearly (especially from what we experienced around the full moon in Leo 2 weeks ago. Think back to what was brought up for you emotionally and what impressions you received. You’ll be expanding on that now), while the solar eclipse presents an open doorway. Can you see how all those feelings are like a key to choose the right doorway for you? If you can tap into what you’re feeling and what intuitively keeps coming up for you, you get a glimpse into what it takes to achieve your dreams and goals, reach the next level, or at least the next steps to start this new journey. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, bringing everything to a completion, setting us up for the next big adventure (Aries) and now we have a new doorway opening to usher us into the next chapter (or possibly a whole new book) whose story line is going to be playing out for the next 6 months until August, when the next set of eclipses are ready to get us going again.
So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: How can you give yourself freedom to explore, as well as a way to ground and make sense of all the emotions and intuitive impressions you’ve been receiving (think writing in a journal, writing a song, painting a picture, talking to a friend, etc)? How can you use your heightened sensitivity and intuitive awareness as a new tool to trust yourself and “go with the flow”? Where do you need to set boundaries in your life, and how can you do so while feeling empowered? I really feel like this new moon solar eclipse is asking us to get clear about what we want so we can get it started, so focus and pay attention to what’s going on inside of you! This week, walk through your new doorway and set those boundaries in love. Your new adventure awaits! <3
Consider doing an invocation, prayer or mediation on the night of the 1st to help you break free from old habits or to help you get clear on your new way of living. Feel free to use this invocation or make up your own. I like to write down what I’m trying to work towards and keep it in a place I can see it everyday. At the full moon, I’ll check off what I’ve accomplished towards my goals and reassess what working and what’s not.
Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see is Epidote in Prehnite. The properties of Prehnite are increased by the presence of Epidote, and other properties of Epidote are present in these crystals as well. Prehnite fosters a strong sense of trust in Universal Principles. As such, Prehnite stops hoarding of both possessions and love by fostering a belief in the abundance and power of the Universe to manifest whatever is needed. Prehnite clears toxins from the body and balances the meridians, and helps you say no to unreasonable requests. Lucid dreaming is induced by Prehnite, while dreams are made easier to remember and nightmares are reduced. Prehnite is said to “heal the Healer,” (again, Epidote enhances this), and this stone can be used to revitalize your personal healing environment. Put Prehnite with Epidote in your garden to create a healing sanctuary for yourself. Use Prehnite with Epidote when working with energy grids to enhance protective fields, calm, and bring inner peace. Epidote is a stone that increases whatever it touches. Prehnite boosts prophetic abilities, enhances visualization, spiritual “knowing,” and aids in connecting with higher realms including your higher self as well as spiritual and extraterrestrial beings. The addition of Epidote to the Prehnite further increases perception and interaction with spiritual beings. This makes Prehnite with Epidote an excellent stone to use when working with tarot or crystal balls. On a more physical level, Epidote’s ability to increase energy is useful in strengthening the physical body. Epidote stimulates the immune system, aids in healing, and is a great stone to use for physical recovery. Epidote increases personal power, clears the emotional body aura, and even increases memory making it helpful when looking for a lost object. My hope for you this week is that you allow yourself some quiet time to reflect upon what’s going on inside of you, and that you take a minute to look back at the full moon we just had to remember what came up for you then. What visions of yourself did you receive? Did you tell yourself it was all just a dream? You’re getting a golden opportunity to expand upon what you “saw” and felt, so take this chance and run with it!
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
