Byeeee January! Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya! 👋
Now that’s over, lets focus the rest of Aquarius season and what this week brings us.
First up is the pre-shadow phase we’re in now for Mercury Retrograde coming mid month. Mercury just changed signs into Pisces today as well, so there’s a feeling like the retrograde season has already begun. Pisces is the sign of completion, the last sign of the zodiac and of the fish, so if we think of the symbol of the fish, we think of slippery, hard to grasp and pin down, but also agile, fluid and graceful. So consider that when communicating right now by asking a million questions for clarity, by finding ways to express yourself with kindness and compassion, and realizing that your definition of something may not be the same as the other persons.
We also have a full moon coming up on the 9th in the sign of Leo. Get ready to be bold, be beautiful, and be the center of attention! Leo’s are the zodiacs performers and big haired beauties–they aren’t ones to shy away from a spotlight. Ruling the 5th house of creativity, children and passion, you might find these themes coming up for you on Sunday. Your inner child could come out to play, asking you to bring more joy into your life, or you might be called to think back to childhood and remember what you wanted to be when you were a kid–are you doing that now? The one thing you don’t want to do to a Leo is ignore them, so if you’re feeling ignored this week, don’t lash out. In turn, don’t willfully ignore others. Nothing cuts as deep to a Leo as being looked over, because essentially you’re saying they aren’t special enough to be seen or wanted. If you find yourself this week feeling like you aren’t being seen and heard, hold back on bringing out the claws (this is a fire sign), instead, consider who your audience is and make sure what you’re offering matches the crowd you’re performing for; adjust as necessary and maybe this lesson is more about finding those who appreciate you and what you bring to the table.
Finally, we’re still in Aquarius season so our community and friend groups are still in focus. Emotionally, we have an advantage to be a bit detached and view things from a higher perspective since this air sign prefers to stay above (what they feel are) limiting emotions. Pull on that if this fiery full moon wants you to go full ballistic mode. Allow the step back to help you readjust your crown, widen your smile, and bring what you do best to a wider stage and audience 💖
So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: Consider using fire to help you at this full moon. Work a spell with a novena candle for whatever you need, or you can write down your intentions on a piece of paper or what you’re trying to let go of and light it on fire, releasing it to the Universe. You can also scry with a flame, or sage your house to release the old energy and bring in better juju to support your needs.
Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is sunstone. Sunstone is an abundance stone. It encourages independence and originality, is inspirational in revealing talents, and attracts fame and unexpected prosperity. It is an excellent “good luck” crystal for competitions. Wear Sunstone to feel alive and enthusiastic. It increases vitality and is beneficial in starting, and maintaining, a fitness program or aerobic activity, and for occupations requiring high energy throughout the day. As a workplace crystal, Sunstone increases your profile and brings opportunities for leadership and promotion. Place next to your computer when advertising your own business or services online. Sunstone provides a source of strength if you are dependent on others emotionally, or have suffered the sudden loss of a partner. It helps alleviate fearfulness and stress, and protects against those who drain your energies or finances. It is also an excellent crystal for phobia sufferers to ease fear of the dark, enclosed places, or the presence of other triggers. Worn as a ring on the receptive hand, Sunstone helps one receive what is needed and desired. On the transmitting hand, it channels multiple healings and blessings to others. Worn as a pendant, Sunstone brings the heart’s wisdom into alignment with the mind’s inspirations. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

Overarching theme: Six of Cups: The Six of Cups is a sentimental doorway into the stories of our past. It tends to show up during those quiet moments of nostalgia that take us back in time – sometimes they can trigger overwhelming emotions to rise to the surface, whether through reflecting on the incredible moments of our childhood, or the underlying pains that linger on. This card invites us to dive deep within such memories, to seek out their greater implications and underlying energies. As we are living records of every thought and feeling we have experienced, it is also important to remember the Inner Child who’s still exist within you now. The Six of Cups may also reflect a period of relaxation and success after finally transmuting any stress, and highlights the self confidence that comes from speaking your truth. In trusting your intuition, new stories shine through. From here, you may see a new route take form, as the steps become softer and more inviting to your heart. Questions to ask yourself this week: How can I celebrate this incredible life? How have I grown, after everything I have learned? Your mantra: I treasure the memories and build new stories. I support and love my inner child. Additional Meanings: Nostalgia • Akasha • Inner child • Reconnection.
