The week ahead: February 26th through March 4th:

How are your emotions doing this Pisces season? I’m struggling a bit with ALL these feelings, and don’t even bring a puppy video around me because it’ll be nothing but waterworks. There’s something like 6 planets in Pisces right now too, so if you’re not accustomed to water (emotional/psychic) energy, you’re probably ready to crawl out of your skin.

Things aren’t going to feel any easier when we receive a gorgeous full moon in the sign of Virgo on the 1st/2nd, either. Virgo is an earth sign and greatly cherishes and respects organization, categorization, and schedules. Health is also a highlight for them, too. Just like a fish though, the talk of any of these subjects makes Pisces slip right through your fingers into freedom and dreams, so there may be a tug and pull effect this week on whether to go with the flow, or add structure to what’s going on around you. The awesome astrologer Leah Whitehorse from www.leahwhitehorse.com says,

“Virgo is a practical Earth sign, adaptable and dexterous as it is ruled by Mercury. Under Virgo’s critical eye, details come into sharp focus. As this sign opposes spiritual Pisces, the urge is to create heaven on Earth. Virgo is the humble apprentice, applying the teachings of their master on a day to day basis. Virgo is also the skilled seamstress, a nurse or a volunteer digging out toilets in a ravaged land. Instinctively there is a need to be of service. With Virgo at work, we want to make improvements. We hone skills, jiggle the rota and analyse data. We’re not looking for praise or accolades. Our satisfaction comes from a job well done, greater efficiency and better health.

This Full Moon in Virgo however, has her work cut out for her as she opposes both the Sun and Neptune in Pisces. The Moon-Sun opposition sets the conscious mind at odds with the unconscious and shadow material can be projected on others. The Moon-Neptune opposition is slippery, reflecting only what we want to see.  Some may take advantage of Virgo’s natural desire to help, hoodwinking us into giving more than we have to give. It’s important that we remain discerning, carefully choosing who needs our help and where our energies would be most effectively placed.”

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: What health issues have come up for you (this can even talk about addiction or mental health), and what doctor do you need to go see or program do you need to get into? How can you tell the difference between your instincts or your fears? On what subject do you need to speak from the heart about? This week, be conscious where you spend your energy. You don’t have time to waste on a-holes anymore <3

Think about drawing down the moon this week. The full moon is a time when relationships of all kinds are highlighted, including the one with yourself. It’s also a time when projects started at the last new moon can be harvested or completed. Take stock right now of any imbalances in your partnerships and wrap up projects that need to move on to the next level. You can also set out a bowl of water at this full moon to soak up all the energy. You can use it later to scry in or use the water to nourish yourself with. If you like to do incantations, prayer or mediation at the full moon, this will add some pep to your step. I like this Pagan/Wiccan incantation I found that says, “Mother Goddess, lend me your light. Give me your power on this faithful night. I invoke you into my being and soul. Fill up my vessel, make me feel whole. I stand before you in awe and in love. I cherish your gifts you send from above. I ask you tonight to show unto me. My mother, my Goddess, So Mote It Be.” Feel free to change this in any way you like or to make it your own, any way you see fit. Make sure to face the full moon and out stretch your arms so you can take everything in. Enjoy this powerful energy!

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture is green fluorite. It carries a calm, stable frequency that brings order to chaos, and scattered and discordant energies into cohesion and harmony. Fluorite supports spirituality and thought, focus and concentration, and balance in all aspects of one’s life. Known as the “Genius Stone,” Fluorite represents the highest state of mental achievement, boosting aptitude and discernment, the absorption of new information, and helping one work through complex issues. Its energy stimulates the electrical charge of brain cells, drawing in more life force (prana) as it encourages both hemispheres to work harmoniously together in balance. Expanding the consciousness, it advances the mind to greater mental, spiritual and psychic awareness. It stirs creativity and provides a limitless range of avenues for exploration. Fluorite forms in many color varieties, and while each manifests its abilities in different ways, all serve the mental body, brain and energetic levels of being. Green Fluorite adds growth and nature energies to the properties of Fluorite. It clears negative energy from any environment and brings cleansing, renewal, and a spring-like freshness to the chakras. It inspires new ideas, originality and quick thinking. Particularly healing to the Heart Chakra, this mineral permits information to rise from the subconscious, and helps the emotional body understand issues of the heart, both current and of the past. It enables release of emotional trauma and outworn conditioning, frees one from the slavery of addictions and things that are harmful, and allows one to serve purposes of a higher good. Harmonizing the mind with the heart, Green Fluorite helps make certain one’s thoughts, words and actions are aligned with their true purpose. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here!

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about Hope and Readjustment. Your card goes on to say that Firefly’s glow is the spark to light a way for hope. The little illuminator is a reminder that things are not always as they seem. She will show you that your path will be lighter and clearer by allowing beauty to grace your life. Firefly’s shining light is the embodiment of the freedom of the spirit. She is the promise of repairing a broken spirit through faith in yourself. By igniting your inner light, healing takes place. This healing releases sorrow, which brings a renewed outlook for the future. Learn from the lesson of experience and focus on the light in your life. The light within is stronger than you know. By finding ways to reinvigorate yourself, you will find the direction that best suits your life at this time. Additional Meanings: Repair • Change • Release • Hope • Readjustment.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about Adventure and Potential. Your card goes onto say that free spirited Gazelle is the explorer of new paths and the seeker of new adventures. Following his intuition, he bounds gracefully into the unknown. He swiftly changes direction and zigzags to avoid complications. As a result of this ability, he’s comfortable in his own vulnerability. Gazelle prompts you to harness your own youthful enthusiasm that will help fuel the way to new experiences and a bright future. At this time, he wants you to remember to look where you’re going when leaping into new terrain. With faith and optimism, allow yourself to flow with life. Additional Meanings: A new experience • Leap of faith • Spontaneity • Adventure • Potential • Freedom • Childlike energy.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about Responsibility and Dedication. Your card goes onto say that trustful Donkey carries the willingness to take on responsibilities. He personifies determination, and bears the deep spiritual dedication to complete tasks. Yet, Donkey also knows his boundaries. He’s here to remind you that when obligating yourself to personal endeavors and the demands of others, consider whether you’re taking on more than you can handle. When burdened by too many activities at once, perception and creativity can be blocked. Energies can be weighed down by over commitment. Dig yourself out of the drudge by setting limitations. Break away from situations that are detrimental to your health, and dedicate time for personal restoration. In clearing away the clutter, you’re inviting deeper clarity and joy into your life, in turn bringing back your personal power. Additional Meanings: Responsibility • Overload • Dedication • Skills • Extreme effort • Demands •
Duty.

My hope for you this week is that you pay attention to where you’re putting your energy. Your thoughts, your actions, and intentions all have you focused on some outcome: what is that outcome, and is all of your energy actually going into what you want? If not, its a good time to take stock and readjust <3

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
