The video will be back next week!

Merry Holidays, my powerful ones!

Welcome to Capricorn season! As of the 21st, the sea goat is now in charge, and honestly, I don’t know if you could ask for a better teacher of discipline. The sign of Capricorn is ruled by the “no excuses” planet, Saturn; restrictions and limitations are what it’s known best for. Although this might sound incredibly depressing for the more freedom loving types (meeeeeeee), let me offer another perspective that this planet also helps us to find where we have no boundaries or discipline where there should be. Through offering us a pathway of practical, realistic routine and responsibilities as a way to grow, it helps bring structure and meaning to what we do. Capricorns know this all too well, which is why they’re a sign that likes to get things done. They’re highly intelligent, driven, resourceful, wise and will knife you if you get the way of their ambitions. So, it’s better to be on their side in a fight and if you have a war of your own and need to play by the rules, look no further for your aide (they’ll help you both follow said rules or find the best loopholes around it while still being legit). Capricorns respect structure, boundaries, and law and don’t be surprised if the Cap’s you know are involved in law or know/uphold the law and structure of whatever industry they’re in. These guys like knowing how something works from the foundation up, so make sure in your pursuit of building your dreams that the structure of your goal has “good bones” (Cap’s also rule the bones and skeleton in the body, as well as the knees) to work with.

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: Where in your life do you need to set some realistic expectations (goals or relationships?)? In what ways are you giving away your power and precious energy by not setting boundaries where you should be? What area of your life do you need a complete re-structure in, and can you see how being afraid of doing this work is holding you back? I’ve had some come to Jebus moments over this holiday season. It wasn’t just about family dynamics either, it was about my health, my habits, and all my bullshit I try to shove in a corner so I don’t deal with it. Gross. SO gross, but I’m facing it. I have a tendency to treat myself badly by eating sugar coated anything to get my happiness levels back up again when things are feeling low, but the health side effects of this are literally killing me by keeping this weight on my body, so something needs to be restructured here for me. I have to face the reality of the situation that no matter what’s going on, I can still choose to go for grapes instead of donuts (blaspheme of the highest donut order, but also the truth). I mean, who really does that every single time? I can guarantee it won’t be me, but 8 times outta 10 picking the grapes is going to be a realistic, practical, disciplined goal I can set for myself while still being able to indulge in all that I find holy in this godless world. You think Capricorn’s are hardcore in pursuit of their goals? Try taking away my donuts. In the wise words of Missy Elliot, “I’m a lover not a fighter, but I’ll crack your teeth.” This week, get realistic about your goals. Whatever you’re trying to achieve will become that much more attainable when you give yourself a chance to reach it <3

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to).

Chris (the hubby!) got me this new deck for Christmas and I’m OBSESSED. If you guys dig it, it’s called SpiritSong Tarot by Paulina Cassidy and the deck can be found here.

The stone you see in the picture is petrified wood. Petrified Wood, which is also known as Fossilized Wood or Agatized Wood, forms when a tree has died and silicon dioxide forms in place of the wood that degrades until there is no wood left, only Quartz. It works with the Root and Sacral Chakras to bring wonderful healing energies to both physical and emotional issues. Many people like Petrified Wood for its ancient energies, lending to enhanced past-life work. Petrified Wood teaches us patience and helps us to understand how to allow life to evolve in perfection. Working with its grounding energies can encourage one to live life as a spiritual being within this physical realm. Many people like to use Petrified Wood to help connect with the energies of the Earth. Petrified Wood is a great way for city dwellers to keep the vibrations of nature near in the concrete jungle. Meditation with Petrified Wood may take you back to connect with a time when your Spirit was cradled by Nature. Petrified Wood encourages people to respect and look after their environment, ever finding ways to live simply, in harmony with the Spirit of the planet. Carry Petrified Wood with you when you feel disconnected from Nature. Physically, tumbled Petrified Wood is said to help all types of healing, and especially any issues associated with bones and age, such as Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis, and arthritis. You can learn more about this stone here.

She guides you to elevate your sights upon a bright and beautiful future, whether your destination is planned or not. You are well on your way to achieving your highest potential. Additional Meanings: Peace • Healing • Optimism • Promise • Inspiration • Recovery • Vision.

My hope for you this week is that you take a minute or more and realistically look at what you have going on. Are you reaching your goals the way you want to? You feel like you have enough energy at the end the day to take care of your needs? You feel totally comfortable with the way things are set up in your life? Are you set up for success? If you answered no to any of these questions, its time to take a look in that area, and do it right. Patience and perseverance will be asked of you going forward. Step up and make things happen <3

This is your week! Make it an amazing one! 🙂
