The week ahead: November 6th through November 12th:

1

We’re going into the last 2 weeks of Scorpio season, so I wanted to focus on what Scorpio’s statement is so we can get a better handle on what may have come up for us at the full moon on Fri/Sat. Every sign has it’s statement: Aries comes confidently through with “I am”, where the softer Cancer says, “I feel.” Taurus unrelentingly says, “I have,” while in their own code Aquarius says, “I know.” For Scorpio it’s, “I desire” and this past full moon may have highlighted just that for you. Did you notice anything come up around desires that you have, especially if they’ve been something you kept on the DL or secret? Maybe it was something you just discovered about yourself and your needs that you didn’t even realize was there to begin with. I want to invite you this week to allow yourself time to face your desires and work towards coming to terms with it. Scorpio season is not an easy one, in that it brings to light our biggest fears and ask that we face them with no hesitation. For some us, we’ve been taught to hesitate, to not share, or allow whatever we want to go by the wayside. We may have even been told what we want is evil, wrong, or gross. I’m here to remind you this week that your desires are not wrong, evil, unimportant, or gross (unless your desires abuse or harm another, then we’re speaking about something else). Your desires are what makes you, YOU. Your desires also tap into something inside of you calling to be expressed; and if you don’t want those desires to turn into unhealthy obsessions, or warp into something bad because you cannot or will not express them, then you MUST allow them to be in the light and accept them, because they are your own. Because Scorpio rules the genitals, I want to say that your revelation may have had something to do with sex or safety and security issues in some capacity, which will always be the ultimate in taboo (and taboo is Scorpio’s fav category, especially if it’s taboo sex). Don’t let this hinder you from dealing with it though and embracing who you are–that’s the whole point of this season, as well as giving yourself the room you need for your healing and rebirth.

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: Where are you hiding from your deepest desires and how can you get in touch with this part of yourself in a way that allows you to feel safe? What have you learned about yourself in relation to what you will and won’t accept in your life, and how can you reinforce your boundaries so there’s no questions about where you stand going forward? After the full moon, light was also shed on the important things you own and have, and what practical, grounded, logical steps are you taking towards keeping these things in good working order? A big taboo subject in the mediumship world is the debate on whether there are earth bound spirits. When it comes up around any new mediums I meet, things get tense, and people tell their opinions and experiences. I’ve learned with time to wait to hear everyone else’s opinions before I blurt out my own, because it’s guaranteed that I will go against the grain. I would say a majority of mediums out there don’t believe that a Spirit can be earth bound or don’t believe in ghosts at all. I respect this opinion of others because it’s their opinion and maybe they haven’t encountered it in their life. For me, and from an early age, I came into contact with all forms of Spirit. Not all was human, and not all was nice. It’s been my experience that there’s a spectrum out there, just like we have here in the physical plane. At the full moon, I came to the realization that I want to spend more time working with the darker aspect of my mediumship and that I’ve always been drawn to it. I’ve ALWAYS felt shame about this and there was always this feeling that there must be something wrong with me because I want to understand what’s going on when these darker things occur. Why wouldn’t I only just want to work with the light–right? And don’t get me wrong, I do! I love working with Spirit in the light, but there’s also a call for me to work with those stuck here as well, and if I can bring any Spirit that may be trapped, light (if needed) and help them (if needed) then I feel it’s my duty to be there–why else would I be given this ability and why else would I be encountering them? I think a huge thing for me this weekend was just accepting myself and this part of me that wants to do this work and understand this other world. I’m tired of feeling shame about something that’s been happening to me my whole life and that I can’t help (and I swear to jebus if I hear one more person say to just focus on the light and that’s all you’ll see, I’ll scream. It’s not true, it’s spiritual bypassing, and I’m OVER IT), and I’d rather take a hold of this and find power within it than be scared of it for the rest of my life. I’m also no dummy to what will be expected of me here and to what I might encounter, but I also remember that I wouldn’t be given these psychic abilities if I also wasn’t given the ability to protect myself as needed. This week, face your desires, and know that the only thing to be ashamed of, is not answering your call <3

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see int he picture above is Aegirine. Aegirine is a good crystal for overcoming self-consciousness and unnecessary shame over appearance, and is an excellent companion for those with disfigurement or body image problems. A very female-friendly crystal, Aegirine assists women in overcoming hidden prejudice in the workplace, and lends emotional support when returning from maternity leave. It is an excellent crystal for doctors, nurses or others who are continually exposed to the toxic energies of traditional hospital environments, and shields those in home office and workplace settings when constantly exposed to the electromagnetic fields of computers and electronics. Aegirine expands the power of other stones in all healing situations by boosting the body’s own ability to self-heal. Aegirine is a powerful protector of those suffering jealousy, malice, mental influence or psychic attack from others. Use once a week as a wand in the hand you write with to thrust energies away from you in all directions as you state your intent of protection. Carrying or wearing Aegirine helps force the release of negative attachments that may have taken root in the aura’s protective field weakened by abuse of alcohol or drugs, or by smoking cigarettes (though the effect is more gradual). Working with Aegirine in body layouts or in conjunction with other subtle body healing can, in time, regenerate the damaged auric shield. Take Aegirine on journeys of self-discovery, whether spiritual or traveling to new destinations. It is a good talisman for backpackers for protection against negative energies and inhospitable places and people. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Two of Wands. Your card goes on to say that this is a great time of clarity and success as you direct your focus into achieving your goals. You have acknowledged your options and can now look ahead with purpose and determination. This is also a card of power and choice. It may be that you will need to decide how you are dividing your own energy between certain projects, relationships, or opportunities. You have the power to take an initiative or risk without worrying about potential outcomes. You are following your own path, which leads to the acknowledgment of your inner truths and true creativity. Additional Meanings: Personal power • Inventive • Facing your fears • Seeking wisdom • Individuality • Choice • Options • Partnerships.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Queen of Wands. Your card goes on to say that if this is about a situation: It is important that you acknowledge your limitless potential! You’re capable of accomplishing anything you wish if you truly put your mind to the task. Maintaining a positive mindset attracts an abundance of light into your life–this is the first step in manifesting your dreams. If this is about a person:The Queen of Wands is an extremely generous person who is both strong-willed and fierce in their convictions. They easily attract others to them through their passionate and charming personalities. They are very aware of their surroundings and are highly intelligent individuals. The Queen of Wands is also extremely independent and outgoing. They are able to adapt well in almost any social setting or environment, and make others feel warm and welcome. An honest, kind-hearted person who radiates beauty. Additional Meanings:Authoritative • Spiritual • Practical • Independent • Charismatic.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Six of Swords. Your card goes on to say that the Six of Swords highlights the need to let go of something, or make some kind of sacrifice in order to move forward. This may be a difficult choice to make, but know that this is merely a transition, and that you will benefit in the long run. With time, you will understand the advantage of letting things go as an evolutionary process. It is the acceptance of change, in order to grow from experience. After moving on, you will be able to reflect on your path and the choices you have made. The Six of Swords is as much a card of transition and release, as it is a card of learning and experience. Additional Meanings: New adventures • Travel • Harmonious circumstances • Success after turmoil • Sacrifice • Transition.

My hope for you this week is that you break free from the limiting categories and containers you’ve put yourself in. It’s time to bust out and allow others to the do the same as well. If we don’t accept ourselves for who we are, then we never give ourselves the chance to know who we can become, either.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
