Welcome to Libra and the Autumn season! The 22nd marked the halfway point through the astrological year, as well as the final wind down for the calendar. Now is the perfect time to think about getting yourself balanced for the upcoming winter season, where you’re being given a time to go deep and retreat from the world. A beautiful time for introspection is coming up for us, but before we can get there, we need to go through a period of letting some things and relationships go. The autumn season is symbolic for the dying process and you may notice that some important things are coming to end for you, especially centered around your most personal relationships. This can be an incredibly tough time and you may be going through the grief process right now, so please be kind to yourself (always, always <3 ). I think the biggest lesson that the Autumn season brings and Libra too, is about finding our balance and learning discernment about when to let things go. Remember: it’s a process.
Libra is an air sign (mental) and incredibly sociable, charming, and romantic. They love to have a good time, host parties whenever they can, and their ruling planet Venus, also gives them a beautiful sense of style. Libra’s know how to dress themselves and appreciate beautiful things–you can almost always find them perusing local art galleries, gardens, or any place of beauty with their earphones in, listening to their favorite music. Keeping the peace is always #1 and these guys are natural born mediators; they cannot and will not survive in an environment that is hostile or where there is a lot of fighting going on, it completely drains their souls. Born with a strong sense of justice, these guys like to defend the underdog, and it gives them purpose in this crazy world. On the flip side, Libra’s are also known for avoiding conflict at all costs and being passive aggressive AF, so this week, face the issues in front of you and make sure that when you communicate, you do so clearly and concisely; say what you mean and you’ll be ok.
So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: What area of your life needs balanced, and what next steps do you need to take to make it better? How are your relationships looking? What do you need to face here or deal with head on? What loose ends do you need to tie up to get ready for the winter season? This week, balance it out. It’s time to release some dead energy and finally make some room for the new <3
Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture above is pyrite. Pyrite is a protective, shielding stone and is excellent to wear or carry as an amulet to deflect harm and danger. It is especially helpful when one is away from home or performing hazardous work. Pyrite guards against ongoing control, criticism and manipulation by a partner, parent or employer, lending the power to resist without becoming angry or upset, changing the balance of power. A piece of Pyrite in the home or workplace energizes the area around it and imparts an immediate increase in vitality. It overcomes intellectual fatigue due to overwork and tiredness of the nervous system by stimulating blood flow to the brain, increasing mental clarity, focus and recall. Pyrite inspires creativity in art, mathematics, science, architecture and many disciplines, especially those that recognize the inherent perfection and harmonious symmetry of nature and the universe. It stirs the qualities of ambition, commitment and perseverance, and is an ideal stone for students. In the workplace, Pyrite encourages leadership qualities and is an ally for managers and those working toward promotion. Pyrite enhances the protective and assertive male energies in both men and women. It boosts women’s self-worth and helps overcome tendencies toward servitude and inferiority. For men, it instills a feeling of confidence in one’s masculinity and supports the enthusiastic expression of male eroticism. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Ten of Wands. Your card goes on to say that after all you have achieved you may feel overburdened by responsibilities, finding yourself overworked or off balance. Your initial aspirations and creative ideas may faded from your present situation. It may be a good time to accept help from others and prioritize what is truly necessary. How are you growing spiritually from your actions? What can you remove or cut out, in order to reduce some of the pressure on yourself? Additional Meanings: External forces • Balance • Time management needed • Over-stimulation • Grounding.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Four of Crystals. It may be a good time to reevaluate your priorities. Are you spending too much time focusing on materialistic things, such as possessions, the accumulation of wealth, or personal status? You should continue to take pride in all that you have achieved, but not let the illusion of physical wealth get in the way of who you really are. The Four of Crystals can also be an indication of hoarding or negative attachments. Is there a void you’re trying to fill emotionally, by holding onto things that mask a sense of security in your life? Additional Meanings: Possessiveness • Obstacles • Possessions • Resistance to change.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about Strength. Your card goes on to say that your strength and courage will only increase as you believe in your innate ability to learn, heal, and evolve. This is a powerful card that regards the alignment of your Higher Self–one who is full of grace, love, and compassion. You are strong enough to move through any obstacles that life may throw at you, which also highlights your state of consciousness. Understanding how Strength mostly comes from within is directly related to how you harness your own energy–this leads to spiritual ascension as you’re able to identify the vibrational quality of your thoughts. Remember, it is also important to treat others with compassion, love, and kindness. Strength also comes from being mindful of how we interact and communicate with the people around us. Questions to ask yourself right now: How am I acknowledging my inner strength and facing my fears? What have I learned, after all that I have been through? Additional Meanings: Self-awareness • Courage • Self-mastery • Confidence • Determination • Skill.

My hope for you this week is that you aren’t afraid of facing some tension or upset within your relationships. I know it’s hard to rock the boat, but gotta do it sometimes to make sure this relationship is something you can make a voyage in—ja feel? Be brave and know that whatever you find out will help you to make better decisions for yourself going forward.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
