The week ahead: September 4th through September 10th:

We have a full moon in Pisces this week, on the 5th/6th! Get ready for the ALL the feelings to flow freely, especially if you’ve been doing all that you can to avoid anything emotional lately. Pisces obviously deals with emotions, considering it’s both a water sign and ruled by Neptune, the God of the Sea. If we were to look at water symbolically, it stands not only for your sensitivities, but also your psychic senses. This is going to be a very potent week for you in both of those categories, so do what you can to somehow make sense of what’s happening to you (get to the water or take a bath to help you think clearly!), and don’t be afraid to go deep with yourself and possibly face some repressed feelings that need release. Pisces is known for being a dreamy, intuitive sign, but they aren’t always known for being in touch with reality, so don’t get carried away if something surfaces that you don’t understand yet. Illusions are also ruled by Neptune, so wait until next week to take action and look or be open to clarification coming your way. You may not have all the pieces you need to complete the story, or things may not be as they seem. The amazing Divine Harmony from DivineHarmony.com says:

“The full moon at 13’53 Pisces is exact ton Wednesday September 6th 2017 at 12:03am PDT, marking the midway point of the current lunar cycle we are in that began with the potent total solar eclipse in Leo on august 21st! the solar eclipse was the 2nd Leo new moon- bringing HUGE focus to our identify, individuality, creativity, passions and role as leaders and creators in the world. yet as the quote says ‘the brighter the Light the darker the shadow’ and this full moon seeks to bring to Light all the Unconscious energy, motivations, intentions and shadow that we are purposefully not looking at or acknowledging. wholeness means integration- of Light and shadow, ego and Unconscious. this full moon can bring intimations of what that wholeness requires- via dreams, intuition, psychic impressions, projections, fears and hidden things coming to Light.”

“Water is a focus at the time of this full moon- and as i write there are floods in Texas and India that are changing life dramatically for those who live there. water is a symbol of the Unconscious in depth psychology and is the feminine element in alchemy (with fire being the masculine element). when water is rising, flooding or out of control in the dream time we are asked to look at our emotions and relationship to our own feelings and Unconscious to see what needs to be acknowledged and looked at. the same can be said for when water is rising, flooding and out control in the outer world. the outer reflects the inner and until we get to the Source, the ravages without reflect the ravages within. where are we disconnected from the feminine- from our feelings, our compassion, our empathy? where are we disconnected from and dishonoring our Mother Earth? where is our desire for control and rationality a fearful escape from our emotions, our vulnerability and our neediness?”

“This full moon can be a deep dive into the mystical, feeling oriented waters if you love to swim. but if you like to keep yourself on dry land and stay rational and logical this could be a tidal wave pulling you out to sea! how you relate to your own waters, emotions and feelings determines how you will experience this lunation (also look to see if something at 13-14 pisces/virgo/sadge/gemini is getting hit by the lunation).”

Which leads me into Mercury going direct as of the 5th (HOORAY!!!). Ok, so to add on to the possibility of things not being as they feel or look because of Neptune, Mercury going direct the very day before the full moon, will add to the issue of not having enough info to move forward. On the days Mercury goes direct or retrograde is when it’s at it’s most insane, so give yourself EXTRA time this week to travel, as well as much patience as you can for miscommunications and tech sanfoos galore.

We’re still in Virgo season, so themes centered around your health and healing, getting yourself, home, or personal space organized and clean and/or decluttered will be at the forefront of your mind. With Virgo being an earth sign, there might be a small battle between your logical grounded self, and your emotional intuitive self. My opinion would be to strike a balance between the two and write out a list of the things you’d rather logically focus on and what your emotions are telling you to focus on. You may be surprised how the two categories might have overlapping themes, so look to see where both parties (in that beautiful brain and heart of yours) are telling you to focus your energy. Virgo’s are also known for being a bit judgmental, so be careful this week of jumping to conclusions or reading a book by it’s cover. Give yourself ample time through Mercury direct to find the info you need before you make a snap decision (wait until next week is my advice!).

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: (stolen from Divine, above) Where or in what part of your life are you disconnected from your feelings? Can you see where your need to control a situation/person/event is an escape from facing what needs attention inside of you? Where do you need to declutter; either in your house (this could include clothing, food, people, or anything you don’t need anymore or that is taking up much needed space and that isn’t paying the “rent” ie not giving you back what you’re putting in), personal space (can even mean your desk at work), or yourself (emotions or limiting habits?)? What are your instincts/psychic impressions/intuition trying to get through to you and why are you still not trusting this part of yourself? This week, relax but tune in. There’s literally nothing you can do until next week to find clarity, so chill out, take a deep breath, and give yourself permission to finally handle what you’ve been putting off <3

Think about drawing down the moon this week. The full moon is a time when relationships of all kinds are highlighted, including the one with yourself. It’s also a time when projects started at the last new moon can be harvested or completed. Take stock right now of any imbalances in your partnerships and wrap up projects that need to move on to the next level. You can also set out a bowl of water at this full moon to soak up all the energy. You can use it later to scry in or use the water to nourish yourself with. If you like to do incantations, prayer or mediation at the full moon, this will add some pep to your step. I like this Pagan/Wiccan incantation I found that says, “Mother Goddess, lend me your light. Give me your power on this faithful night. I invoke you into my being and soul. Fill up my vessel, make me feel whole. I stand before you in awe and in love. I cherish your gifts you send from above. I ask you tonight to show unto me. My mother, my Goddess, So Mote It Be.” Feel free to change this in any way you like or to make it your own, any way you see fit. Make sure to face the full moon and out stretch your arms so you can take everything in. Enjoy this powerful energy!

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture is Emerald. Representing youth in the age of man, the power of this lush crystal stirs the soul like the heart of spring, symbolizing hope and the future, renewal and growth. It is a Seeker of Love and a Revealer of Truth, inspiring an ongoing search for meaning, justice, compassion and harmony. Called the “Stone of Successful Love,” Emerald opens and nurtures the heart and the Heart Chakra. Its soothing energy provides healing to all levels of the being, bringing freshness and vitality to the spirit. A stone of inspiration and infinite patience, it embodies unity, compassion and unconditional love. Emerald promotes friendship, balance between partners, and is particularly known for providing domestic bliss, contentment and loyalty. It was dedicated in the ancient world to the goddess Venus for its ability to insure security in love. Emerald is also a stone of great vision and intuition, associated with the eyes and sight, long believed to foretell future events and reveal one’s truths. It is a stone of wisdom, enhancing memory and increasing mental clarity. It combines intelligence with discernment, and brings to the conscious mind what is unconsciously known. Emerald also increases focus and intent, activating psychic abilities and opening clairvoyance. Traditionally it was used as a protection against enchantment and spells. If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the King of Wands. Your card goes on to say that if this is about a situation: You are a strong leader and attract like-minded people to you, just as others look to you for guidance. Your vitality and enthusiasm inspires the world, as you’re able to come up with creative and complex ideas with confidence and ease. If there are any opportunities presenting themselves to you at the moment, now is the time to seize them. If this is about a person: The king of Wands is a confident and sociable person. They make strong leaders and are extremely innovative and motivational to others. Their enthusiasm radiates into all areas of their life, and they’re both fearless and adventurous risk-takers. This type is also keen on problem-solving and working through new challenges. They are also very perceptive of the skills and abilities of others, and as a result, are highly supportive and compassionate, offering unconditional counsel and encouragement. Additional Meanings: Capable • Enthusiastic • Motivational • Entrepreneurial • Influential.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Knight of Cups. Your card goes on to say that this is a time for the arrival of great news, an invitation, or an adventure. New experiences are on the horizon–ones that will emotionally nourish you and open up your heart. The pursuit and manifestation of creative ventures. Being able to identify the necessary steps to reach your goals. Additional Meanings:Feminine • Artistic • Romantic • Bearer of good news.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Eight of Wands. Your card goes on to say that this is a card of movement and transition. If life has been feeling overwhelming, know that a positive change is still very possible. Now is the time to take any initiative and grasp any potential opportunities that come your way. Once you can focus on a specific task or goal, there’s nothing that you cannot accomplish. It is the self direction, determination, and confidence that comes with clarity, vision, and drive. It also has to do with establishing productive habits and organizational skills. The Eight of Wands can also highlight positive success through group strength and cooperation. Additional Meanings: Adventure • Change • Newfound success • Group strength • Collaboration • Successful timing.

My hope for you this week is that you allow yourself to really get to the emotional core of what’s been bothering you. This is your sacred duty to take care of your emotional needs, and you’re being given a whole week here (pretty much!), to do just that. Don’t delay any longer and stop putting off your healing just because you might be scared of what will emerge. Be brave in the face of your pain and ask for help as you need it. The only way through it is to come face to face.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one! 🙂
