The week ahead: May 29th through June 4th:

1

We’re in the midst of Gemini season, so notice themes this week about communication, travel, and your siblings—Mercury (Gemini’s ruling planet) is cooking through the cosmos and bringing insight and clarity at just the right moments we need it. Gemini’s also think a mile a minute and love to gather all the information around them; they know EVERYTHING, and if they don’t, they will find out, so don’t try to hide anything from them because it’s absolutely useless. They like to teach others about the info they’ve gathered as well (including gossip) so be careful this week of the information you give out; make sure it’s correct and that you’re not just spreading a rumor. Gemini’s also rule the hands, so if you need help this week releasing any tension or frustration, go do something with your hands! Dig in the dirt, write a story, punch a jerk, mistro an orchestra, learn sign language, or go fly a kite! The choice is yours 🙂

So how can we use the energy of this week to help us? My advice is this: Is the information that you’re taking in, the information you actually need, or are you just distracting yourself? What are you building towards? Is your mental space conducive to the work you’re trying to accomplish, and if not, what support can you call upon to help you get to where you need to be? Everyday is a struggle in my life to get off of social media and focus on what I have to do for my day. I know I’m not the only one that deals with this but seriously, but it’s the best tool I’ve ever used to distract myself from what’s really important. I’m a procrastinator anyways and sometimes my tasks at hand seem insurmountable or just plain overwhelming, so I hop on Pintrest so I can look at pretty things and calm down. I’ve realized this isn’t healthy (no duh), and I resolved as of late to wait to get on my fav apps until after I get my work done, and it’s helping me to see that my anxiety issue is really out of control sometimes. I’ve started back up with my EFT (emotional freedom technique–seriously check it out, it’s weird but amazing) work so I can face my issues and be present in the moment again and work through my anxiety. Some days it works, and other days it doesn’t. On those days it doesn’t do anything is when I force myself to get outside and take a walk. No matter what’s going on with me, I know that if I get my body moving, I’ll feel better. Not everyone is like this, but my point is to know yourself well enough, and have enough systems in place to help you, so when the shit gets real on hard days, you can use the tools you have at your disposal to help yourself get back on track. If you do anything this week, just make sure to pay attention to how you respond or react in your environment, look to see your distractions, and resolve to put in healthier coping mechanisms to see you through. This week, pay close attention; your higher self is calling for you to build towards something, but first you must be present <3

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture is ocean jasper. The rhythmic cadence of the sea has always called humanity to its shores, to breathe its essence, feel its gentle power, and to lay one’s burdens aside. Ocean Jasper brings that same spirit of peace and letting go, of breathing deeply and consciously, attuning to Nature and being physically and spiritually present in one’s surroundings. Ocean Jasper draws its soothing power from the element of Water. It is a stone of strength and renewal with a slow, steady frequency and a deep circular energy that embodies the interconnectedness of all things. Its spherical patterns are a spiritual reminder of how thoughts, words and actions interact in our world and flow in a circular direction. It honors the principle that what one sends out will indeed return. Ocean Jasper is a marvelous stone for cultivating patience and coping with change, and encourages giving service to others. Also known as The Atlantis Stone, Ocean Jasper is believed to be linked to the ancient city and to hold mystic knowledge within its structure. It is highly beneficial for reclaiming spiritual wisdom and gaining insight into one’s past lives. It provides an ideal focus for grounding and centering in meditation or healing, and facilitates continuity in deep circular breathing. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about Serenity. Your card goes on to say that sometimes it is important to step back from the noise and chaos of the world around you. There’s nothing wrong with isolating yourself from time to time, as introspection offers spiritual teachings that can only come from within–this, in turn, allows you to expand your field of perception and connect with your higher self. Serenity describes the soul-searching journey where you seek truth, purpose, and harmony. You are waking up to a renewed sense of spirituality that is illuminating your life in new and vibrant ways. You may feel less inclined to share your thoughts or views with others, as you realize that each person is on their own cosmic path to enlightenment. Take a moment to reconnect with nature and explore the mysteries of the Earth around you. Look out for the sweet synchronicities as they come. Questions to ask yourself right now: What can I learn through personal experience? How can I connect with my true spiritual nature and higher self? How can I surround myself with like-minded people? Additional Meanings: Spiritual Quest • A revaluation of life plans • Meditation • Introspection • Consciousness • Solitude.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Eight of Wands. Your card goes on to say that this is a card of movement and transition. If life has been feeling overwhelming, know that a positive change is still very possible. Now is the time to take any initiative and grasp any potential opportunities that come your way. Once you can focus on a specific task or goal, there’s nothing that you cannot accomplish. It is the self direction, determination, and confidence that comes with clarity, vision, and drive. It also has to do with establishing productive habits and organizational skills. The Eight of Wands can also highlight positive success through group strength and cooperation. Additional Meanings: Adventure • Change • Newfound success • Group strength • Collaboration • Successful timing.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Two of Wands. Your card goes on to say that this is a great time of clarity and success as you direct your focus into achieving your goals. You have acknowledged your options and can now look ahead with purpose and determination. This is also a card of power and choice. It may be that you will need to decide how you are dividing your own energy between certain projects, relationships, or opportunities. You have the power to take an initiative or risk without worrying about potential outcomes. You are following your own path, which leads to the acknowledgment of your inner truths and true creativity. Additional Meanings: Personal power • Inventive • Facing your fears • Seeking wisdom • Individuality • Choice • Options • Partnerships.

My hope for you this week is that you pay close attention to the way you give and receive information and energy. While these things may seem little, they offer you a glimpse into how and why you do what you do. If you’re ready to make some changes and to get to know yourself better, be present.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
