“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger; anger leads to hate; hate leads to suffering.” – Master Yoda

This eclipse season in September is about to come to a final head on the 16th, when we have a full moon lunar eclipse in the sign of Pisces. From all the research I’ve been doing, this full moon lunar eclipse is tied into the original solar eclipse (Sept 1st) that we had with a major theme of fear. The major theme with this full moon is going to be war, but don’t let this freak you out! As always, I’ll be giving my advice and we’ll figure out a way to navigate this time together—ok? 🙂
The sign of Pisces is a beautiful one, full of emotions, spirituality, creativity and sensuality. Pisces is also the last sign of the zodiac, bringing together many of the characteristics of the other 11 signs, also representing endings and tying things up so a new cycle can begin. Pisces is a little hard to pin down though; slipping in and out of reality, known for dreams and secrets, these guys are most comfortable being and dealing with all things otherworldly, especially if it has to do with their inner journey.
Full moons are a time of culmination, bringing forth all the efforts you’ve made since the new moon and allowing you to reap the benefits of your harvest (if you’ve done the work), much again like the sign of Pisces. Emotions are high and so is our intuition right now. Full moons also highlight our relationships, so expect your most important ones to be on the table with a spotlight on finding truth. All things come to light under a full moon, but with it also being a lunar eclipse, your emotions get a reset, helping to clear away the baggage from the previous 6 months.
Ok Sarah, this is A LOT of information–how the heck do I incorporate this into my life and make sense of this time? Well Lovelies, I’m glad you asked! My advice is this: To battle this war and fear theme going on right now, the only thing you can do is to cultivate a desire for an open mind and heart for anything different from yourself and your views. Tolerance and empathy are the only tools you can employ that have any effect against anything or anyone trying to rule you with fear or play on the fears you already have. Courage is also needed to help you face what is making you feel threatened; are your fears even real or based in reality? It may be time to do your own fact checking or research the history of an issue—DO NOT take ANYONE’S word for it.
We’ve been going through a year that’s highlighted our worry, guilt, and depression, so everyone is already ready for a fight—detach from that drama and channel this energy of frustration and anger into your passions and desires, creating something beautiful and having some fun. Since this full moon is in Pisces, please be careful of overindulging in drinks, drugs or tuning out completely; do your very best to be present and aware. In terms of your relationships, you MUST be in touch with your own needs and intentions to be able to see clearly where you need it most in your partnerships, now and always. A key here would be to acknowledge what you DO have, even if it’s not “perfect” yet. Your instincts are also going to be on point right now between the full moon and the Pisces influence, so please trust what’s coming through for you. If you’re willing and daring enough to make changes in your life, you will own this eclipse season. Trust yourself this week and the calling to be more open and loving in your relationships, even if it’s just towards yourself—the world needs this now more than ever <3
Think about drawing down the moon on the 16th. If you like to do incantations, prayer or mediation at the full moon, this will add some pep to your step. I like this Pagan/Wiccan incantation I found that says, “Mother Goddess, lend me your light. Give me your power on this faithful night. I invoke you into my being and soul. Fill up my vessel, make me feel whole. I stand before you in awe and in love. I cherish your gifts you send from above. I ask you tonight to show unto me. My mother, my Goddess, So Mote It Be.” Feel free to change this in any way you like or to make it your own, any way you see fit. Make sure to face the full moon and out stretch your arms so you can take everything in. Enjoy this powerful energy!
Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to).
The drawing you see in the picture above is done by the VERY talented Flor Larios at https://www.etsy.com/shop/FlorLarios. I ADORE her work (I have SO many of her paintings!) and if you dig this painting, you’ll die for the rest 🙂
The stone you see in the picture above is Azurite with Malachite. Azurite-Malachite is an exceptional conductor of energy, bringing a grounded, more integrated process in healing physical dis-ease. The blue ray penetrates and moves energy, calming stress levels within the system while the green ray facilitates a deep healing force. It may also be used to activate the Third Eye in cleansing the subconscious of emotionally charged thoughts or negative feelings, and restoring a higher and clearer mental state. It assists in dissolving egocentric traits, dispelling conceit, arrogance and vanity, and instills a willingness toward flexibility and individuality based on a universal connection to “All.” Azurite-Malachite’s combination of energies is highly conducive to meditation by allowing one to go deep within the self, without fear, in order to be sustained, absolved, and reborn into the light, completely aware of the genesis at all times. If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Three of Swords. Your card goes on to say that this is a more ominous card than most, The Three of Swords suggest that something has left you feeling hurt, betray, or rejected. Although the presence of these emotions may feel overwhelming, know that within every challenging situation, a greater lesson is presenting itself. Acknowledge, honor, and process your feelings, but not play victim to their circumstances. How we face adversity can have a lifelong effect on our happiness and consciousness if we choose to habitually focus on the negativity. Your innate strength and wisdom will emerge, as you realize your full potential to grow and learn from past mistakes or obstacles. You alone have the power to rise above the shadows and reach a higher state of being. Additional Meanings: Heartbreak • Obstacles • Redirection of negative forces • Sacrifice • Loss • Learning • Healing.
•
If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Seven of Swords. Your card goes on to ask–are you being truthful and loving in your intentions at this time? If you’re being dishonest or secretive in some way, in order to gain something, it is suggested that you rethink your approach. Omitting the truth is never a good idea, especially if you’re trying to manifest a positive outcome. Look at your options head-on. What choices can you make in order to have positive results? It is also advised that you exercise caution, as you may have to deal with potential betrayal or dishonesty from others. Be careful who you choose to confide in or trust. Additional Meanings: Overconfidence • Deception • Selfishness • Secrecy • Betrayal.
•
If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Four of Cups. Your card goes on to say that it could be that you’re missing out on an opportunity if you’re being distracted by external forces. It is a sense of restlessness and boredom which has you feeling stuck in a rut. Are there issues from your past that are weighing on your present situation? If you are fearful or indifferent about making a change, you may continue to dwell in a state of denial. Perhaps you’re not seeing what is right there in front of you. You have a system of love and support in your life–how can you connect with this? Is there anything you’re taking for granted? Take a moment to meditate on the aspects of your life that you are truly grateful for. See the positive highlights, rather than focusing on the negativity. Additional Meanings: Disappointment • Apathy • Boredom • Letting your imagination get the best of you.

My hope for you this week is that you’re ready to face your fears as well as the truth in your relationships and with yourself. By being in touch with your own needs, trusting your instincts and channeling all the fear and anger into something creative, you should be able to navigate this time with some relative ease. By fostering an open mind and heart, none of this fear and war mongering will suck you into its abyss, either. Be open this week and when in doubt, be happy with what you already have to usher in what you’re trying to reach.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
