The week ahead: May 23rd through May 29th:

1

I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately for readings about life purpose and it really had me thinking about why so many people don’t know what theirs is. I remembered when I started this journey 4 years ago (I’ve been bringing you the weekly for 3 of those years now–wow!! It’s an honor, my beautiful Lovelies and thank you from the bottom of my soul for reading and sharing and just being generally amazing) I kinda knew what my purpose was, but I was terrified to say it out loud or to think about living it. A reading from another medium gave me the validation I needed that I was in fact a medium, but it also gave me some direction. I had no idea at that time that I would be writing this weekly here for you now, but I did know that I wanted to get started helping people right away, and then it dawned on me how to do that and this is my advice to you now: Be the love you never received. Your answer is buried deep in that single sentence and will unlock all the doors you’re looking to bust open. But what does it mean? It’s one thing for me to be a medium, but it’s a whole other thing to help, heal and give direction to the people coming to see me, and the two are not mutually exclusive. It means to be the person you needed when you were younger, and to remember what it was you used to be so passionate about as a child. Do for others what you needed so desperately done for you. If you didn’t have time or money constraints or worried about what other people thought, what would you do? In becoming that person you needed when you were younger (or now!) or shifting into the love you never received, you literally become the person you are deep inside and you fulfill your life purpose. This week, look deep within and ask yourself what you need, then, allow yourself to become the love you never recieved. I promise once you do that, everything else will fall into place <3

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). There’s no stone his week, but I wanted to work with the magic of the sunflower. The sunflower moves itself in the most direct position in front of the sun so it can get the maximum sun rays. This is symbolic of spiritual faith, and worship because we follow our belief system as the sunflower moves to face the life-giving rays of the sun. The sunflower is the Greek symbol of Clytie (a water nymph) who turns into a sunflower after grieving over the loss of her love (Apollo). The mythological symbolism here is that Clytie (in the form of a sunflower) is always facing the sun, looking for Apollo’s chariot to return and she might be joined again with her love. The sunflower is also a symbol of Daphne (another Greek nymph). In Chinese symbolism, the sunflower (and sunflower meaning) deals with long life, good luck and is considered very auspicious. It’s yellow color signifies vitality and intelligence. It’s a symbol of happiness too. In esoteric Christianity, the sunflower is a symbol of God’s love. The sunflower as a symbol can also represent the unwavering faith that guides the soul to the highest spiritual attunement. In Native American symbolism, the sunflower is used in late summer festivals as a symbol of bounty, harvest and provision. It is a symbol of the sun, and thus likened to the life-giving force of the Great Spirit. The color of the sunflower was noted for its vitality and symbolic of energy as well as fertility. If you chose card #1: Your message this week is that lots of little steps make big dreams come true. You card goes on to say that this card says that you have a big dream, but you may not know how to make it happen. The unicorns want you to know that your dream can come true if you focus on taking one small step at a time. If you will just do one or two things a day related to your dream, it will come true more quickly than you can imagine! You can take small steps to complete any project. For example, if you need to write a report or clean a room, you can focus on one page or one corner of the job at a time. Don’t think about the whole project–just focus on the little bit that you’re doing right now. Then, once that page or corner is done, you can think about the next page or corner. You can even plan how many pages or corners you’ll complete (on a calendar) to help you plan ahead. Taking one step at a time is a secret way to success. You’ll be amazed at how much you can do if you’ll just make slow and steady progress. Take a moment and think about your project or dream. Imagine that it’s already completed, and notice how you feel in your body and your heart. Then ask your angels, “What steps should I take right now to make this happen?” Notice any thoughts, feelings, words, or pictures that come to you. If you receive a strong message to take action in a positive way, then do so. Remember that every big job or dream can happen if you just break it down into small steps and then take them.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is that you’ve started something important, and now it’s time to complete it. Your card goes on to say that at the beginning of a project, you feel excited because it’s something new and different. It’s excitement gives you lots of energy. It also makes you want to spend a lot of time working on the task. But the excitement may fade away, causing you to lose interest. At that point, you may walk away from it. When you have lots of unfinished projects, your mind feels scattered. The unfinished jobs nag at you, which isn’t fun. This card asks you to go back to an important project (you already know which one it is) and complete it. The act of finishing something helps you become a more organized person, and makes you feel better about yourself. This specific task will also help you with your larger goals. That’s why it’s important to finish! It’s actually easier to finish something than it is to deal with feelings related to the project being incomplete. The easiest way to finish it is to spend daily time working on it a little bit. What can you do today to bring the project to completion? If you’re unsure, ask your angels and unicorns for help. They can give you ideas, as well as the energy to work on finishing what you started. You’ll thank them and yourself after the task is done!

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is that it’s tie to let go of anger or blame. Your card goes on to ask if are you blaming someone or something? Are you feeling angry? This card tells you that blame and anger are holding you back. Blame takes away your power and gives it to the other person. You have a lot of power, and one way to feel it is by letting your anger go. You don’t need to forgive the other person’s actions if they really hurt you, but you do need to stop seeing that person as an enemy, because this anger is toxic to you and your body. You know that happy thoughts make your life Happy. Well, angry thoughts can bring more anger into your life. The unicorns know that this isn’t what you want, so they ask you to give your anger to them, and also to your angels. Being free of anger and blame gives you more power and energy, and makes you feel happy. Are you mad at yourself for some reason? If so, this card means that you need to forgive yourself. You can learn from your past and grow much stronger by letting go of anger towards yourself. You can do this by understanding why you acted as you did. You probably had a good reason for your actions at the time. Now, after thinking about it, you may wish that you had acted differently. But regrets aren’t helpful unless they help you to learn. Everyone is learning as they go through life, even adults. Do your best to understand this, and you’ll be able to let go of anger towards yourself and others. This is what it means to forgive.

My hope for you this week is that you can transform your worry and doubt about your life purpose into a knowing who you are at your core. When you become the love you need so bad in your life, you unlock a powerful door to greatness. When you become the very thing you need, you fill a void that this world so fiercely needs. Get to it, Lovelies, and be brave in the face of your fears.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
