The week ahead: December 7th through December 13th:

Watch were you’re pointing that arrow this week! 😉

We have a new moon in the sign of Sagittarius on the 11th. Sagittarius is known as the sign of the truth seeker, and independence is of utmost importance on every level. This sign does their own thing and you’ll never see them following the pack. Sag’s also have a propensity towards religious and philosophical ideas and themes. With all of that in mind, this new moon seems to be asking you to take a leap of faith, to follow your own path, or help you find the freedom you’re looking for. With Saturn squaring (square=tension and cross purposes) Neptune going on in the background, we’ll still be fighting with some fear and guilt, and with the Sun squaring Jupiter (the home planet for Sagittarius), your leap of faith or freedom will be tested. Even though the Sun will be duking it out with Jupiter, it will also be working nicely with Mars to help us take some positive action. This sextile (sextile = talents and ease—energy that’s capable of being directed) between the Sun and Mars will give us ample courage, confidence and the guts to tackle even the ugliest of obstacles in our path. Just don’t let the confidence go to your head, or over shoot what you can do or deliver and you’ll be just fine. To keep things simple: if you’re coming from a place of sincere or honorable intent, this new moon will help you to free your self so you can do what you want. Can I get an amen? 🙂

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–pick what you’re drawn to). The stone you see in the picture above is Amethyst/Citrine Spirit Quartz. Amethyst Spirit Quartz activates the higher Crown chakras, bringing in spiritual information and providing multi-dimensional healing. It is very cleansing to the aura and can dispel negative attachments and entities, and repair holes to the etheric body. It is a compassionate stone facilitating transition to other states of being. It assists a soul facing death and provides immense support throughout a terminal illness, and can be an effective tool for spirit release, attracting guides for the journey. The Amethyst color brings passion and imagination, emotion and logic. It stimulates creativity and is particularly helpful in artistic endeavors. Citrine Spirit Quartz activates the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras, aligning personal will with Divine Will, and allowing for a more focused manifestation of one’s chosen goals and those of the Higher Self. This stone purifies intent, and increases the sense of self-worth and empowerment, giving access to true abundance while releasing attachments to material things. It is particularly useful in harmonizing group efforts and focusing power for a collective cause, and is a marvelous stone for conflict-resolution and in seeking, or granting, forgiveness. Gold crystals provide the simple pleasures of life – cheerfulness and contentment, enthusiasm and success. If you’d like to learn more about this tone, please go here.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about nurturing. Your card goes on to say that receiving can be a sacred act if your intention is to honor Spirit. It’s as holy as giving when performed with a humble and open heart. This is even truer when receiving much needed nurturing, so let others give to you. It may be a stretch to do so at times because of childhood conditioning, but that habit can be overcome. Your wounds can be healed. One way to achieve this is to nurture yourself, and allow others to nurture you. Consider the actions you take that are self nurturing. What comes to your mind when you really think about doing beneficial things for yourself? Set aside your ritualized habits and beliefs that restrict the pure act of allowing your body, heart, and soul to be nurtured. Lie on the earth and ask Gaia to rock you in her bosom as you breathe with her and relax into her loving care.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about movement. Your card goes on to say that fighting or blocking the flow of your Life Force can lead you to feeling spiritually void and disconnected from Source. Just like the metaphor of the river, it does not work to force or fight this compelling movement. When you simply pay attention and observe the flow, it becomes easier to navigate your experiences and see what lies ahead, or at least get a sense of what is to come by the ever-changing geography that unfolds as you cruise along. You resistance is hampering your ability to make a choice in this matter. Surrender to the movement of Life, be grateful, and you will see the signs along the shore and in the river itself that offer you clues about what direction your ego-less Self is to be making. “Go with the flow” is more than a trite aphorism here. It is essential that you do so now. Breathe, relax, and you will know.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about a promise. Your card goes on to say that this is the time to launch a new project, a new relationship, or renew something that has been put aside for a later date. With your intention and willingness to allow a full cycle to complete itself, that what you desire will manifest. The seed of that idea is ready to emerge from the darkness of your subconscious into your full awareness. The next step is to put into action what is required to fully realize this idea. A promise has two meanings: it can be a commitment and guarantee to yourself (or someone else) that a particular thing will happen, or it can imply that something specific is expected to happen. When your will is aligned with the will of Spirit and your intention is focused upon what you wish to have happen, there will be fulfillment, and the promise is kept.

My hope for you this week is that you pursue your freedom. When guilt, fear or apprehension set in, do something nice for someone else. If your freedom or path is being tested, stand right up to whatever is testing you, focus your intention, and be yourself. No one/no thing is able to take away your freedom unless you let them/it. Be powerful, be present, and rise to the occasion when called upon to set your own path this week.

This is your week! Make it an amazing one 🙂
