The week ahead: May 18th through May 24th of 2020:

We have a new moon coming up this week on the 22nd in the sign of Gemini but first, we move into Gemini season on the 20th.

Gemini is an air sign who loves to communicate. Information is power here, and the exchange of new, useful, and exciting news makes these guys light up. You need something from a Gemini but you don’t have anything to trade? If you’ve got some juicy gossip, you do now! Really I’ve found the keyword with my most beloved Gemini’s is “new”, and if you start to bore them or you aren’t bringing in fresh data, these guys will just tune you out. They need to be stimulated mentally, so you need you need to bring the wit, the humor and some serious debating skills.

I grew up in a house where my father and both of my sisters are Gemini’s (the girls were born 11 months a part), and after that insanity, I promised myself I’d never marry one, but of course, what did I do? You guessed it, I was dumb and fell in love and I married a Gemini. But, my own personal Venus is in Gemini, meaning I too need mental stimulation in love including someone with a good sense of humor, I need new and exciting things to be happening on a regular basis, and honestly, someone to spill all the tea with–I don’t know if anyone but a Gemini could fulfill my requirements.

This new moon, and with retrograde Venus in Gemini right alongside it, is going to have us busying ourselves with all the themes previously expressed, but there may be an emphasis on how we communicate about who we are and what we value, maybe what we personally value or find beautiful about ourselves, sharing what we’ve been up to behind the scenes, and ready for connections that makes us laugh, challenge us mentally, or make us feel alive again.

This week should be buzzing with verbal activity.

So call the people you love and miss. Let them know what you value about them and how they make you a better person because of their existence, but throw in a couple laughs to keep it airy. Write a letter to your state rep and let them know they’re fucking up and how you’d like things to be fixed. Do your research into new and exciting things coming up in your industry and spread the word to those you think will appreciate it. Most of all, remind yourself of your importance and keep the channels of communication open to your higher self. Sometimes the only info we need, comes from our very own well of knowledge 💖

So how do we work with the energy of this week? My advice is this: Bloom where you’re planted. Sometimes the only thing we can do, is to work with the energy, the information, the materials, or the resources we currently have. Instead of pinning away for that day in the future where we pretend everything is back to normal and can live our previous lives, it behooves us to be present in this moment and make the best of what we have right now. On the surface, there may not be anything magical to this, but I promise that if you make this a daily activity to go with the flow and work with what you’ve got, not only do you become more resourceful, you also learn ways to overcome obstacles, and you transform what was once stuck, into an open road of your choosing. And if that ain’t magic, I don’t know what is.

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is pearl. Pearls bring centering and a calming reflection, as well as attune you to the ebb and flow of life. They promote faith, honesty, purity, wisdom, charity and personal integrity.  Pearls soothe and heal the negativity and struggle that occurs in your life be it occasionally or for a long period of time. It surrounds negative energy with light and as a result heals negative thoughts and thought forms. This stone moves negative attachments and psychic attacks out of the aura, helps to release negative karmic patterns and fills the aura with healing light
During meditation this stone will encourage money to flow into your life, and see yourself using it wisely. Money is energy and squandering it leaves you little in return. Pearls will assist you in manifesting what you need at that time and place. Pearls have water and lunar energy. As they easily absorb both positive and negative thoughts and emotions they need to be cleaned and recharged often, as they will hold the energy indefinitely.  Place them in moonlight to recharge these crystals. Pearls help in the search for higher wisdom and truth. It will assist you in seeing and dealing with the truth of your self and others. It encourages you to take responsibility for your thoughts and actions. Pearl helps you in the search for higher wisdom and truth. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

Overarching theme: King of Pentacles: The King of Pentacles is an accomplished individual who thrives on living life to the fullest. Their notions of success are grand and ambitious, and they often follow a streamlined route to their goals. This person has likely refined their wisdom down to a strong sense of material stability, while always being mindful of their own foundation. This is a place of power and strength. The King of Pentacles adores the opulent riches of the world and doesn’t hold back from exploring its beauty – whether through seeking physical prosperity or the natural landscapes of the earth. There is also a stable, pragmatic energy in this heart that exudes warmth and loving care for others. The King of Pentacles encourages us to think big, follow our dreams, and believe that anything is possible. This speaks of an intuitive strength that takes nothing for granted, in seeing the rich opportunities of life. Questions to ask yourself this week: How can I enforce my focus, to rise to new heights? How can I celebrate the beauty of this world? Your mantra this week: I bask in the beauty around me. I harness my power to build and create. Additional Meanings: Security • Reliable • Supportive • Discipline • Power.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about the Nine of Swords. Your card goes on to say that the Nine of Swords points to turbulent states of inner disharmony or habitual worrying that keep us trapped in psychological fear. When anxiety, depression, or insomnia sink in, and various deceits of the imagination affect our wellness, or perspective on life. This card prompts us to consider if our stress has become entrenched and if we can reach out to a system of support. Perhaps it is time to seek counsel or connect with the people you love or trust. If there is an issue that is bothering you, address it head-on with gentle care in order to transmute its power. This card may also indicate that it is important for you to stop fretting about the views or opinions of others. Know that you deserve to be happy and fulfilled, and that this temporary interlude has the power to illuminate a new path. Questions to ask yourself right now: Where and how do I mostly focus my energy? Am I ready to reroute these negative forces? Your mantra: I forge new thoughts with every breath. I transform my worries into visualizations of love. Additional Meanings: Fear • Despair • Nightmares • Guilt • Anxiety • Worry.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about the Wheel of Fortune. Your card goes on to say that The Wheel of Fortune illuminates the ever-shifting highs and lows that lead us through our dance with life. With this energy comes the sensation of inevitable fate or potential opportunity, depending on how you look at it. It promises to consider the underlying patterns that repeatedly emerge over time, and how we choose to respond to the circumstances we are faced with. It also indicates the habits we eventually learn to break and the karmic lessons that persist throughout lifetimes. By these cycles, a great transformational energy moves through the Wheel, allowing us to work with our shadows, so that we may appreciate and build upon the precious moments that make it all worthwhile. Without the challenges and lessons, the beauty around us would seem less brilliant and alive. How can we live in the gift of this present moment and take it all in stride? Questions to ask yourself right now: Were have my silver linings shown up? What repeating patterns am I ready to let go of? Additional Meanings: Transformation • Change • Karma • Silver linings.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Five of Wands. Your card goes on to say that the Five of Wands deals with struggles and conflict, either because you feel you must stick up for yourself, or because the ideas of someone else clash with your own. This could also signify challenges within yourself that you’re having to work through. At some point, they will make themselves known, whether through your behavior and involuntary expressions, or the stress levels you experience. How can you focus on rerouting your thoughts, or process what needs to be shed and released? It could be that you will find yourself competing with someone who is equally ambitious as you are. If you feel as though you’re overburdened by the energy of others, take a step back and rest within your own stillness. Now more than ever, it is important to honor your heart and make your priorities clear. This card is not about teamwork – it is about your own personal goals and strengths. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I open or hold space for healing? How can I focus my own energy to help the situation? Your mantra: I release what needs to be shed. I commune with unconditional love. Additional Meanings: Conflict • Competition • Tension • Delays • Independence.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 😊
