The week ahead: January 13th through January 19th 2020:

I’m not gonna lie to you guys, this Saturn Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn that occurred on the 12th is a tough transit, and we’re gonna see the the outcome of what we’re doing right now develop over the next 32 to 38 years (Pluto has a wonky orbit). To say what we’re starting, ending, or even rebuilding is essential to everything we do going forward, is no joke.

I personally have this conjunction in my chart, and although mine is in the sign on Libra, there are some things that ring true, no matter what sign the conjunction is in.

Saturn, the taskmaster and time lord, working together with Pluto, God of the Underworld as well as life, death and rebirth, makes for a gnarly, cold duo. If you’re not careful or you’re just now dealing with a pairing like this, it’ll be too easy to let fear overtake you, or even depression. Power is a major theme for both of these behemoth’s too, so power struggles, power dynamics, and power plays will be happening all around you. Also, it can feel like you have lead shoes on when trying to meet a goal, so getting discouraged or wanting to throw in the towel will certainly come up, especially if you feel you’ve hit an obstacle in the road.

To know where this transit is working for you, look to see what house in your chart Capricorn rules.

Personally for me being born with this conjunction, I’ve found over time a couple things to be true: first, you have to follow what your joy is. It’s too easy with this to give into or let fear guide you, and I promise if you do that, it leads to nowhere good; depression and anxiety will set in, and taking action will feel like an impossible feat. Second, you have to be honest with yourself about the themes this conjunction sits in or brings up for you. Running away from the responsibility being asked isn’t gonna work, so stepping up, taking action, and being real about what’s actually happening will get you further ahead. Third, you must step into your power. Being afraid is no longer an option. Period. Also, you have A LOT more power than even realize or is apparent. Finally, and most importantly, you have to let the old way of whatever the themes are for you, go. You cannot hold onto the past or keep doing things in a way that keeps you stuck and expect to move forward–it doesn’t work like that. If you’re willing to cut cords of attachment and work diligently towards your rebirth, slowly but surely, amazing things will happen.

Essentially, it’s time to get started with what’s being asked and know that to have lasting influence, you must take time to build your foundations right. None of this is gonna be easy, none of this is going to go fast or have instant gratification and there may be times where you question if any of this was a good idea at all, but what you lack in quickness, ease or hasty satisfaction, you’ll make up for in personal power, leadership and freedom.

We got this💖

Go ahead and pick a card from above (pick one, two, or all three cards–choose what you’re drawn to). The top card is the overarching theme for everyone and it’s something to keep in mind or to remember, no matter what energy shows up for you as the week goes on. The stone you see in the picture above is garnet. Garnet provides a protective influence and a calming stable vitality during use. It is thought to heal emotional problems. Placed under a pillow, Garnet is reputed to alleviate bad dreams. Medicine men used it to cure mental depression. Garnet is useful to have in a crisis, particularly in situations where there seems to be no way out or where life has fragmented. It fortifies, activates, and strengthens the survival instinct, bringing courage and hope into those situations. Crisis is turned into challenge under Garnet’s influence and promotes mutual assistance in times of trouble. Garnet can act as a strong help to balance the energy system, stimulate desires and uplift your attitude. As a balancer stone, Garnet can prevent fears of insecurity and even money losses. They’re lucky stones: lucky for love, success, and for goals. Use Garnet to increase your positivity and popularity, thus enhancing your personal self-esteem. As an energy stone, it can encourage success in business and business relationships. It is a wonderful executive gem, especially for women. Square cut garnets are particularly useful in bringing success in business matters. Garnet has even been credited with aiding widows in finding a new husband. After mourning for too long, Garnet helps to regain the spirit, calming sadness and emotional pain, helping those who have gone through great despair get back on their feet and become seductive again. Perhaps the same could be true for widowers as well. If you’d like to learn more about this stone, please go here.

Overarching theme: Knight of Wands: the Knight of Wands embodies a knack for adventure that goes beyond logic and convention. This is the type of spark that surges within you when you have nothing to lose, with no fear, no doubt, and an optimized sense of freedom. This confidence leads this person forward with no thought of potential consequences along the way, because hey, what could possibly go wrong when you have raw inspiration driving you? The Knight of Wands is one of the most visionary people in the Tarot, as they seem to exist outside of the space of their body, living in liminal doorways that lead them anywhere they could ever possibly imagine. This is a powerful frequency to align with, and of course, it has its risks when proper planning or foresight are not taken into consideration, but with all the leaps and bounds, the dreamer has the power to move mountains, break paradigms, and build entirely new worlds and inventions. Questions to ask yourself right now: Am I ready to embark on a quest of my own making? How can I plan ahead and make a concrete plan? Your mantra for the week: I walk through every guiding doorway. I break free from all limitations. Additional Meanings: Restless • Quest • Impatient • Daring • Adventure.

If you chose card #1: Your message this week is about The Tower. Your card goes on to say that The Tower marks those unexpected devastations that corrode our spirit or sense of security; when we feel crushed under the weight of circumstance, or experience a traumatic event that casts a shadow on our life. It can also point to situations in which the mind, body and spirit are not working in harmony due to passive or unhealthy choices. From the depths, this key may lead to a breakthrough in consciousness, allowing us to free ourselves from the necessary burdens or energies which no longer serve. What is the greater lesson to be learned? Know that for every difficult situation we face, we are forced to grow from experience. Liberation comes from letting go and rising up, and sometimes to do this, we have to hit a low point. Without the darkness, there is no light. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can this shadow be a catalyst for expansion? How have I transformed the toxicity in my life? Additional Meanings: Upheaval • Transformation • Abandonment • Liberation.

If you chose card #2: Your message this week is about Divine Wisdom. Your card goes on to say that the floodgates are beginning to open, as the seated wisdom of the ancient mysteries are now pouring through. This is the Divine knowledge that exists within your cellular memory and the power of your own unique story. You may be experiencing a breakdown of the artificial structures that wish to fall by the wayside, as new forms of wisdom stir within your heart. This may also indicate a deeper sense of awakening, as you connect with various forms of teachings, lineages, or philosophies that call out from beyond this lifetime. Divine wisdom comes as a sacred reminder of the sovereign truth that rests within you, waiting to be reclaimed and activated now. Depicted in this key is the representation of Isis, the lunar goddess of 10000 names, we are reminded of the cycles of time that have birthed many sages, mystics, and ascended guides who have also led our collective narrative of magic and mystery. Within the centuries and millennia, their ancient wisdom has been transcribed and passed on through preservation and memory, and still today, we hear the echo of that voice. It lives on within you–in your dreams, in your heart, and throughout the journeys you have taken during countless incarnations. Questions to ask yourself right now: How is the universe expressing its wisdom to me? What new forms of knowledge am I now cultivating? Additional Meanings: Akasha • Awakening • Higher Self • Unity • Expansion.

If you chose card #3: Your message this week is about the Two of Swords. Your card goes on to say that if you find yourself at crossroads, there may be a need to create a sense of balance between two or more opposing energies in your life. Generally when this card shows up, we are experiencing some sort of difficulty in making a concrete plan or decision about something. Perhaps we feel numb, or are ignorant to the entirety of the situation and cannot see what is unraveling before us. It is time to acknowledge the situation head-on, so that you may process what you have been avoiding. Do not fear the potential outcomes, as fear will only hold you back from finding a positive solution. Summon the courage to trust in yourself, and your path will become clear. Once you’re able to make a choice, your confidence and strength will soar to new heights. Questions to ask yourself right now: How can I make a decision with my best intentions? Are there any ways to help clarify the situation more? Your mantra: I recognize the smaller pieces of this larger puzzle. I connect my heart with my own logic. Additional Meanings: Indecision • Equilibrium • Self-doubt • Denial • Choices.
This is your week! Make it an amazing one 😊
